Good dryer when set to normal dry - Another story when set to extra dry – Dries clothes ok most of the time, but sometimes need to set it to extra dry to dry some items properly. Only problem with this is the dryer gives up on the heat drying mode on extra dry, and you find your clothes not drying at all... This is a problem, and I'm pretty sure its a manufacturing fault. Most people wouldn't use the extra dry option, but I believe its sometimes needed. 2 out of 10 times, the machine gives up, and stops drying the clothes, and cold air comes out the vent...
Tried claiming on warranty, and they rejected the claim. I am over the warranty claim by 2 weeks, so they did not want to play ball.
I believe if its a manufacturing fault, that it should be replaced under Australian Consumer Law.
Any help with how to go about this would be greatly appreciated...

I am impressed! – My good old reliable simpson dryer died. Mustve been 15 years old. I found it hard to make a decision on a new one. I purchased the electrolux from TGG. Service was good. The dryer is better than i thought it would be. Easy to use & is accurate with drying. Clothes are fluffy when dried. The filter is easy to clean & there is no fluff around the door. I am happy with it so far. I've had it a few months & used regularly about 3 times a week.
