Love my Electrolux Washing Machine, had it for approx 3months purchased it on sale form E & S. Love the WIFI option to control and view the status of your wash or choose the best wash based on what laundry you have. So far so good. ** 1 Year on and still Love this machine, learnt to you the App to choose best wash, learnt it uses less energy on longer washes which is interesting

Purchased in at e&s for $789.

Ticks most of the boxes, with room for improvement – PROS I love the short 15 minute long option (perfect for washing one or two soiled uniforms in hot or cold water). You hardly ever have to empty the lint filter (which is that little circle located at the bottom right at the front of the machine), unlike older machines where you might have to change if as often as after each cycle. This machine still functions as normal if you choose not to use the wifi features (no internet connection or tech skills necessary).

Relativity quite

You can add an item part way through a cycle (provided the water hasn’t risen to high, don’t worry it won’t let you open the door if the water is too high).

CONS

Shorter cycles require hot water, thus costing more if you want the job done quicker. The 39 and 60 minute “default options” can only be performed with hot water the next fastest cold cycle is 1 hour and 26 minutes (there is the delicate cycle for 1 hour and seventeen minutes but this might not be powerful enough).

Made in Thailand.

When you do have to empty lint filter, you will always need a very thin very wide container otherwise the drain nozzle from the washing machine will spill its dirty water out all over your laundry floor (I use a thin garden pot base as even Tupperware is too tall to fit into underneath).

The next model I buy will have the auto dispense feature so that you can pour in two litres of laundry liquid and then “set and forget” as the machine automatically pours in how much you need for each individual load - currently this feature is not worths the hundreds of dollars more AND there is no way to disable this feature / no twin chamber so any other people in your property will be using your washing products when they wash their own clothes.

There’s no “Heavy” cycle.
