I brought an ultimate care 700 5 years ago and that's why I'm writing this review.Initially I thought it maybe too small for our family of five active people.I can honestly say this to be the most reliable machine I've owned by miles.I regularly put on 3 full washes a week and it's never failed.It has many good things going for it but to name one it would be the 10 minutes spin cycle I use when I hand wash clothes.
Purchased in at Appliance Warehouse for $760.
I have a big family and rely on washing towels at 90degrees and also over 60 degrees to sanitise clothes. Obviously not for the delicate clothes. I was alarmed when it took over 5 hours for the 90degree wash and over 4 hours for the 60 degree wash. Nor could you delay the start but you can actually increase the time washing . Seriously?? The cycles were all far too long already ! Nowhere in the Electrolux information sheets did it mention this! It’s definitely not a time saving nor energy saving machine as it is promoted. If you only wash on 30 degrees then you are ok. Thank you to the Good Guys for replacing this machine for me ! Electrolux would not !
Hi Upjinder, I think it’s too late now . I tried multiple times to explain issues to Electrolux and also asked for escalation. They wanted to send a technician but I knew that this is the way the machine was designed. There needs to be transparency in information provided to consumers so that we can choose the right product. I owned your time manager machine prior to that . I loved the ability to bring down the time needed for the cycle considerably and also the delay start option it had. Your ultimate care machine does not have these features. The time manager machine had issues with spinning dry which I also complained about over the years I had it ,but when technician came out said it was all fine but it never was and I ended up putting up with it. Until I gave up on it and purchased your ultimate 700 machine hoping it was an improvement on the time manager machine . It certainly was not Regards Hana
