Need new oven door – I love my Emilia but unfortunately the oven door will not seal pro0e4ly and today could not close it, so can I purchase a new oven door? Overall, pretty bad product – From the start this thing was trouble. The over never cooked things evenly and the clock stopped working after a few months. purchased extra cover) and they said they will only pay us out at the price we paid for it ($1200). Today the same spec oven is over $1800, so don't bother with the extra cover with Norman, its not like for like at all. Anyway back to the oven, the gas top works perfectly, never had any issues with that, it's just the oven. I certainly would buy this brand again, even the newer ones I've heard are just as bad.

and cooktop reach temperatures over 70C very quickly - it hurts to brush against these surfaces accidentally, and would be very dangerous with small children around.

The door itself is impossible to open and close with one hand, and slams shut with such force if it slips from your grasp that the whole range moves - anything on the stove-top will be flung from the saucepans. During this process the hard-won heat in the oven will drop by up to 20 degrees, which will take around twenty minutes to regain.

Also, brilliantly, the oven arrived with ONE rack, and so has less effective capacity than my old 60cm oven. The heat is also uneven.

I found the 'service' manager at Glem Gas to be rude and unhelpful, and the technician they sent to remedy the problems with the heating and the door just denied that were any problems. The retailer just kept referring me to Glem, so I have given up. I bought a cheap gas pizza oven and we cook outside in that in summer. In winter we see the heat escaping from the oven as a bonus, as it warms the whole back half of the house. For this, and the fact that the cook top works I award the single star you see above.

But really, DO NOT buy this oven. Buy ANYTHING else.

Ya gotta be kidding me! – Purchased this oven for $2000 wouldnt get hot , the door dont seal or close at all. I would advise you not to purchase a Emilia cooker, this one is going to the dump, with a sledge hammer through it, it's terrible. Two thousand bucks and all I have cooked on it is a fried egg.

Waste of hard earned money emilia stay out of my kitchen – Takes twice as long to cook in oven. Gas stove top ok but electric oven bad. I too have the door problem (nightmare) and looks like from reviews expensive to fix and not much service. Will give it a go and see what happens. Hard earned money down the drain. Gas cook top easy wipe down and handy when power fails. Oven door jams wont seal - takes twice as long to cook.
