I just tried mine again -after weeks of not having it working - i held the power button whilst i held the timer button for a while and it worked - hopefully that helps someone

Sorry just saw your message Carolyn… I couldn’t find a service person in area to assist. As I don’t use it daily. I shut it down.. power & water.. after a few weeks I turned it on and it worked perfectly & has done so since then( I do turn both power & water off each time) I can only think the computer in it needed a reboot..‍.. but thank you for your advice for future .. it could happen again… BTW my adult family were all amazed this worked haha

has there been a resolution to this question as we experience the same thing. Dishwasher does not have any leaks but 90 min cycle flashes and there is 30 beeps that initially sound when switched on also. will sound like it is draining constantly (water is draining from the machine)

Technically no…. its still an open case according to the Emilia Technician service report – was unable to determine the actual cause/fault but its likely related to the overflow sensor. I found a way to get around the issue and continue using the unit but since the technician came out I haven’t needed to do this…very strange but good. I suggest you request a service investigation and hopefully your technician can determine the cause as i believe my unit will at one stage do this again and i will be contacting them myself.

Hi just posting what fixed my machine in case it helps anyone else. It’s an overflow alarm my base pan/filter kept filling with suds, I started the dishwasher opened the door and kept pouring water into the base until it was all clear closed the door and turned the machine off; then ran a normal cycle.

The fault is caused by the flood sensor located in the base detecting water. To resolve the issue you need to switch off the appliance at the wall and pull it out of the cupboard void. Once removed you need to tilt the washer at a steep angle forward and hold it in place for around 1 minute, stand the appliance back up, and then turn on the power. You should now be able to run a new program to confirm the fault has cleared, should the fault not clear then the sensor is most likely at fault, should the fault come back after a wash then there is a leak causing water to get back into the base, and in either case the next stage would be to book in a service engineer to attend.

Hi gail2074 - this can indicate a number of things. Usually, it indicates there is some element of the dishwasher leaking which a serviceperson needs to help resolve. You can try powering the machine off and unplugging the unit to allow a re-set overnight. If this doesn't resolve the issue, please call us on 1300 307 917 for assistance. Thank you

I have a similar issue. It is new this year but I have been away just over 4 months. No one used it in that time, though I did have family at the house here and there. The cycle hums, then after a while, it beeps and the light shifts to the '30 min cycle'. I have done this a few times, and now there is water filling up in the base. The filters are clean, there is no blockage, there is no reason for draining pipes to be twisted, I can't get the dishwasher out fully, so no one has been messing with that.

The manual does not cover the issue of flashing light, though I have just read there are several other questions of the same issue. It seems the manual and/or Emilia should have this issue covered, so we can at least try to resolve it. Very unhappy. I even recommended this machine to a friend, now I wish I hadn't.

Sorry, I am not an electrician or appliance technician. I am just an ordinary housewife and I can only make comment about my experience with the machine up to when it gets delivered to us. The dishwasher is for a rental property, so far no complaints from the tenants except for door lock getting stuck and they can not open it. We called an electrician to fix it as it is no longer under warranty.

Since I have written my review, our tenants have not reported any problem with the dishwasher. I know that the tenants use the dishwasher regularly as it was on when we conducted the annual property inspection. Keep reporting the issue with the manufacturer for a resolution.
