Ongoing oven problems – About to call repair company for the 4th door seal on this oven in the less than 6 years I have had it, This one was a replacement for the original oven which went back (after much negotiation) after 6 months or so having had problems with door seals (x2) and thermostat in the oven. I was told this is a design fault. I'm also having issues with… Read more

heat escaping and damaging my cabinetry. I have to say the cook top is excellent. I agree re the comments others made about the grill, neither of mine came with a griller rack so I didn't know they were meant to have one!. Perhaps they were going missing before they made it to the customer. I'm saving up for an alternative of any brand. It's a big expense and its disappointing to have such ongoing problems.

Exploding glass front panel – We've had the oven nearly eight years and have maintained it well. Yesterday, for no apparent reason, the glass front door exploded. Glass everywhere. It hadn't been knocked and or hit. It hadn't even been used that day. Trying to find replacement glass is difficult and the one source I've found wants $638 for a similar model and I'll have to… Read more

install it. I can buy a good scratch and dent for the same. Reading other reviews on Emilia products it appears to be a common problem. I'd avoid Emilia products!

Piece of junk – Just bought a house with one of these. Installed and well the cook top seems to work ok but the excuse for an oven/ grill is woefull While it claims to have a grill function - that is an over statement - while it does have a top element there is no grill tray. Are you supposed to grill on the oven racks which are to widely spaced to stop a… Read more

sausage falling through.

The fan comes on as well and dries your stake out like a crisp!

Save your dollars and buy a real oven. And if your looking at a house with one already installed - insist the cost of a new oven is taken off the price!

Pathetic grill

Terrible – Terrible! Bad value for money. Does not cook well. Is hard to keep clean. Will have to replace my expensive kitchen cabinets on either side of the oven. As soon as I can afford it, I will have to replace the cooker as well. Looked good Everything! The worst oven I have ever used. I have had it for only twelve months. It takes two to three times… Read more

longer to cook anything, and it burns in places and leaves others undercooked. It melted our new kitchen cabinets as there is not enough insulation in this cooker.

Still waiting to have my 2nd cooker replaced or a complete refund – This is whole experience has been a disaster, 2nd oven (replaced by Glem) has same problem as first, even after new thermostat and numerous "adjustments" to jets, burns outside of food, still cold in middle, outside cabinet gets so hot you cant touch it,would burn a childs hands, I have to use a tea towell to press fan or other buttons after oven… Read more

has been on for 20 minutes, cupboards either side of unit hot to touch, have had no satisfaction from Glem Applicances and have now placed whole problem in the hands of Office of Fair Trading. I want and think I should expect a complete refund. I have cooked with gas for 25 years so know how it should work. This oven just does not operated correctly. Gets too hot even on low degrees, one other problem does not have indicator light to let you know when or if correct temp setting is reached, my fault there in that I missed that detail in my purchasing the oven, I have got to the point I dont use the oven, cant use the oven. Looks good Gets too hot, burns outside of food, cold in middle, cabinet gets red hot to touch

Excellent – We have just installed the EI965MVI model and overall we are extremely pleased with it. It's easy to use, easy to clean and looks great in the kitchen. Have no real Cons at this stage, but only been using it for about 3 weeks. The base is removeable (for cleaning presumably) and you can see through to the floor through vent holes. Not having… Read more

experience with these types of ovens it seems odd, but they are manufactured to be there. Possibly to assist with circulation and I guess fire needs oxygen. Don't know if much or any fat will drip through here to the floor though. It's shiny ;-), cooks well/evenly, easy to clean. Has a fan (not talking about the fan assist that you can turn on) that operates of it's own accord which is a bit noisy.
