should be the same height as the other beds. In fact, the top of the slats (i.e. the bottom of the mattress) is only 23cm above the floor so, with a mattress depth of 29cm, this makes the sleeping surface only 52cm above the floor. My wife and I find it awkward getting into bed and, more importantly, extremely difficult getting out and we are both concerned about the risk of falling, especially in the dark. Had I known that this bed was so low to the floor, I would not have purchased it and would have instead bought one (either from EMMA, or someone else) which provided a more easily negotiable height, considering our age and lack of mobility. I have been tempted to place a brick under each of the legs/supports but that, in itself, would present other safety issues. Hopefully, somebody from EMMA will read my comments and be able to suggest an acceptable solution.
Bed was very easy to assemble with minimal effort and the necessary tools are included in the box. Frame doesn’t creak, has rounded edges so less risk of bumping into it and hurting your shins, it is not excessive in size so doesn’t take up too much space in the room. Show details · 1

The bed frame came well packaged and was easy to put together. I was well pleased with the dark tone and finish of the timber frame and it matched in perfectly with my bedside drawers. The slats gave excellent support to the mattress and the padded headboard adds and extra level of comfort when reading a book in bed. Show details · 1

The bed frame feels solid and supports my mattress well without any squeaking or wobbling. My only minor complaint is that I wish the slats were a bit thicker for extra durability, but this hasn't caused any actual problems so far.
Setup was quick and all the parts were included. The bed holds up well with daily use and looks good in my room. If you're looking for a decent bed frame that won't break the bank, the Emma Rosewood is worth considering.

Excellent products, poor delivery – Buying a mattress online felt like risk. But this mattress turned out to be the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on. By far. The bed base is agreeably solid and easy to assemble. Very happy with both products. The only downside was the delivery company To My Door. They were inept.
