bedframe came with double bedframe instructions and it took about an hour to trial and error and having to do and redo parts figuring out how to put it together when there were different parts to the double bed. We got there in the end but it was painful. I also emailed Emma who kept sending me the same m for thee double bed and youtube video (also for double bed) which was not helpful. After about five emails back and forward, the representative said that she has raised the concern with the "business developer".

Note: delivery was also done on a day that I was not available despite following instructions to email the team to change the date of delivery. They were able to leave at the door but appreciate that some homes do not have under shelter from the weather/ elements or apartments that are accessible to deliveries if no one is home.

Would recommend if you are buying a double or queen bed but not the single bedframe.

My first impressions were; - the mattress felt very firm and I was unsure whether I'd get used to this - however, it was very supportive and 'even' with no turbulence or noise in the mattress from my wife's movements - I had also purchased the Emma pillow which I felt was also quite firm. To me it felt a little 'high'.

After a few weeks sleep I noticed I was getting shoulder discomfort, however the mattress was getting better and better! Still firm, but with just the right amount of 'give' to allow you to really relax into bed. I've recently changed my pillow out, one with a lower profile and all problems with shoulder discomfort have disappeared....I'm now getting incredibly good night's sleep. I can't fault the mattress, but only suggest if you have any issues with discomfort to also go through trial and error with pillow types. With the 100 day return policy, you can't go wrong here.

expands right where you need it and eliminate any heavy lifting. The king mattress is heavy, but not too much that it’s not manoeuvrable.

The mattress (diamond hybrid, without pillow top), is truly exceptional. I thought it would be less comfortable without the pillow top but the slight firmness is absolutely heaven to lie down on every single time.

My partner and I can’t feel each others movements in the night, which is a life changer I didn’t know I needed. My 2yo occasionally climbs in during the night and neither of us wake up or get disturbed. Another thing I never knew I needed in a bed was breathability, as the mattress stays the perfect temperature and sleep sweating is a thing of the past. I will never go back to traditional-style mattresses.

Another exceptional part of the mattress is the top half of the mattress cover unzips and can be washed separately. The zip goes around the middle of the outside surface of the mattress so it’s easily removed. Any “accidents” by the kids are absolutely worry-free.

I also bought the duvet and it’s now our only blanket for both hot and cold nights. Interestingly, it came in a box labelled from a well-known luxury-brand Duvet manufacturer but cost half the price.

My only gripe with any of it is with the frame, as the cover over the slats is too short to effectively stick to the Velcro on the frame. The mattress comes into contact with the exposed Velcro and makes a ripping sound when sitting on some edges. This could be easily fixed by swapping the rough Velcro onto the slats cover and the soft Velcro onto the bed frame.

Helpful advice – The Emma Base and Mattress was a Breeze to put together. Suggestion is to construct the base first, have the base set up where you want the whole bed to be, then once assembled crack open the actual mattress. That way the mattress can be setup on top of the bed Show reply

Awesome – Great sturdy bed frame though the lower corners at the end of the bed are very sharp and could have been rounded a little bit to remove the sharpness (have hit my leg a few times against them)! Show details ·  1

Never got the whole bed. We ordered bed and mattress bundle. Mattress arrived in a few days. Bed never arrived. After a few weeks called and was told it was out of stock and can swap for a different bed. Second bed still didn’t arrive and made a few more calls promising it was on the way. box 1 of 2 only. Called to query and box 2 out of stock. Again Promised to be sent a different bed only to be sent box 1 of 2 a second time, so we have two same halves of a bed. I finally asked for a refund after they said the second box was out of stock and no idea when would be back in stock. Customer service people friendly but just have no idea how to solve an issue and they are advertising the bed being available and in stock on their website with no stock.

Mattress is amazing! Bed frame is extremely hard to install, not easy! – Mattress is to live for! I love my Emma Mattress & pillows so much as does my boyfriend. They are so comfy & make sleeping so easy.

The bed turned out even better than I expected! It’s really firm and sturdy, and the mattress fits perfectly. There’s no noise or creaking at all, which I love. Assembly took a bit of effort, but it was worth it in the end. Super happy with the purchase! Show reply

This is our second Signature bed we have purchased as the first one was so good. We all have the Emma mattress which makes for a comfy night sleep, it’s like sleeping in a cloud. It was much quicker to assemble this second time which was a bonus, practice makes perfect! Show details ·  1

Cosy snug bed! – Purchased a new queen bed for home. Love it. Found it easy to assemble (mattress needs a few hours to inflate properly!), and exceedingly comfortable. It’s good and firm - ideal for us nurses who have tired backs at the end of the day. I’ve found too that it was warm in the cooler weather, and comfortably coolin the warmer weather. Best nights sleep!!! – Best sleep that I have in a long time, the bed frame is very sturdy and also looks great and the mattress is extremely comfortable. Amazing mattress for the price – We’ve tried a few bed-in-a-box type mattresses previously, and this Emma comfort king mattress has been extremely comfortable. It has also kept its shape and hasn’t started slouching, even after having it nearly a year now, which is when other bed-in-a-box type mattresses have started slouching and sagging. I love my mattress, save one thing – The mattress is incredibly comfortable and has helped my sleep immeasurably. I would 100% recommend Emma to who asks, and in fact have already. My only gripe is the velcro that lines the inside of the bed frame, which is also of Emma make. It is pulling at the threads of my mattress cover. That said my sheet helps avoid that but, when there is no cover will cause an issue. Will definitely check out more Emma products in the future. Show details ·  1

Nice looking bed – Bed looks nice however our Emma mattress does not fit on the bed properly. After purchasing less than one year ago it makes a lot of noise when we move around / get into bed. Assembly was easy enough however took two people and time consuming. Show details

Great value - no issues – it's packaged well and pretty easy to assemble (did it alone). The frame is built well and solid, all the legs underneath help it be quite sturdy. Haven't had any creaking, which is great. The height of the headrest is perfect, wish the cushioning on it was even thicker but its good enough. Comfortable and stylish – Was a little skeptical about buying a mattress in a box + the bed itself. Couldn't be more satisfied! The mattress is comfortable and firm (not rock hard) and we are both sleeping much better, and with a lot less neck and back issues.

I just LOVE it – We purchased our bed feeling a little nervous not being able to touch or feel before purchase. The 100 night trial was the sealer for me. Good bed but horrible customer support – I have had my Emma bed for just over 1 year (we use it as a spare bed) and so far all the reviews from our guests have been great. It is a bit harder than I like a bed to be but my older guests love it. It does a great job and was relatively easy to put together. The customer service at the time was pretty horrible though - very hard to contact Emma and responses took ages but they did eventually help in the end. Show details ·  1
