No after sales service – Absolutely no after sales service. Will push you straight to the manufacture to deal with any issues, avoid at all costs. Illegal behaviour.

No customer service – These guys offer great products but if you are looking for customer service, go anywhere else! Details around install were never communicated, and after the install the system wasn't functioning properly. After more than 3 months, they still haven't been out to fix the fault and provide nothing but excuses when you call or email. Would never use this group again or recommend to anyone. Show details

Terrible communication! – Terrible communication and never followed through with their commitments. They initially provided great and advice and responses right up to the point of paying a deposit and trying to book in install. our system and over 3 months on, Energy Assist still wont come out to fix the problem. Would never recommend or use these guys again. Once your money is paid, forget about getting any customer service again.

See a pattern – Very knowledgeable before install. Install was fast and timely . BUT BUT BUT Then they disappear!!!! up 3 weeks later. Blamed the batteries with NO proof and took the data to give to Selectronics. I was hung up on after being told I was being too demanding. I never hear from them again after many calls and messages promised and never returned till next time the system went down. I was told they were working on it. 4 more times the system fails and still no one from Energy Assist comes to down load new data. Finally called Selectronic (who are great They haven’t heard a word they got back to me twice the same day) Finally after threatening bad social media They show up and down load the latest data. I’m told they are, NOW forwarding it to Selectronic This is now 4 weeks before Christmas. I’m worried! Well Christmas day…. down 3 times!!!! Family around Thanks a lot. This should have been fixed 3 months ago. Who knows when they will deal with it after Christmas!

Never use these people they talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. Just imaging if you bought a $35,000 car and the dealer did not fix it after stranding you on the road 8 times. They don’t care! And they are arrogant about it. That’s you Dolf!

Price was very competitive on the same products from other companies.

From the start, we got well informed input while considering different options & manufacturers of Solar components. We choose what we thought was best after visiting the DISPLAY ROOM in Croydon of the "Energy Assist ". Mr. Dolf Van Gaalen was very informative and supplied us with most of the details on various products we wanted to know about.

Ours is a Double Storied house. Having some shading issues on the North aspects but nothing really serious.

We choose, on our own, 17 LG Neon2-330 W panels with 17 Enphase "S270" Micro-inverters to be installed during early November 2017.

It is a 5.61 kW solar power system. Generating in Nov, Dec and so far in Jan 2018--- minimum 35 kWh in a sunny day. Peak production was ~ 37.6 kWh. Our use of Electricity in summer is ~ 20 kWh---- Maximum.

As promised, the job was done perfectly. They organised the Inspecter to come and approve. this was done within 4-5 days of installation. Some minor aspects were pointed out by the inspector to be attended to. It was done next day of the inspection. Energy Assist quickly sent the Inspector's report to our Supplier ( AGL) and our meter was adjusted with 4 days of submission of the Inspector's report.

The ENPHASE monitoring system works well, we check daily the production, our use and how much was sent to the GRID.

WHAT A SATISFACTORY JOB. THE SAME WAS THE CASE FOR THE SECOND PROPERTY WE GOT DONE BY THE ENERGY ASSIST GROUP. It is DECENT family business and in our experience --- have high integrity in dealings with customers.

Dropped like a hot potato – Energy Assist seemed to be good at advising us on a solar solution and were price competitive. response after 3 follow ups. 4 weeks after the install, our energy retailer Dodo advised they've just received notification to switch to a solar billing arrangement and they in turn have asked the meter provider (CitiPower) to change the meter. So in summary, zero customer care, 4 weeks of delay and likely another 4 weeks for the system to be commissioned (hopefully). Energy Assist is a regrettable choice for us and I sincerely hope others don't make the same mistake.

been completed to spec, and does not work. I have missed most of summer with an incomplete and non-operational system. Despite frequent remonstrations with the CEO, nothing is being done. Promises are made, and then nothing, crickets. They sound like they intend to fix it, but then another week or two goes by with no communication and no action. Then I contact the CEO, lots of apologies and around we go again. Stay away - this is an incompetent company with absolutely no concept of service.
