Purchased 500w 50Ah power station and portable jump starter in Dec 2023. Three years later - emailed iTECH with some photos to clarify proper airflow around the power station in a new vehicle setup. used a fold up solar blanket (Not Itech) to charge the Ps300 during the day. At a 40watt charge it did take most of the day to recharge. Charging also through a 2000 watt inverter (again not itech) using the charger provided and at 60 watts it did charge a bit quicker. In hindsight possibly the next model up would of been better but the ps300 was on special and truly good value.

discounted price. At the moment these, due to the sealed plug lead into the jump kit are near impossible to replace the effort on the hinge is so great the plastics wash is not able to cope with the force and splits (very basic plastic) Dave

Purchased a 250w fixed mount panel from the Sydney 4wd show. Service was exceptional and got free freight and a mounting kit thrown in as they didnt have any stock at the show. and has been flawless. Even on very overcast/rainy days it is still putting 3-6 amps in where as the old panel would do nothing. Battery back up at full charge normally by 10.30 or so with it flat mounted and not aimed at sun for best output. Very happy with it

Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I purchased an iTECHBM500 Battery Monitor, and as soon as I opened the box, I could see that the unit appeared to have been used or was possibly an ex-display item. I emailed them straight away, explained that the protective film was missing and that the screen was damaged, and attached photos showing the scratches and scuffing. I received a reply telling me to go through their returns portal.

When I went through the portal, I found that returning the item would mean paying a 10% fee, or I could have it assessed for repair. From what was stated in the portal, it also appeared that I would be responsible for the postage costs for an item that I had received in what appeared to be used condition.

I decided to go with the repair option, but when I got to the section where I needed to upload photos, the portal continually returned a system error and would not allow me to upload them.

I emailed them again, explaining that the portal was not working and that I could not upload my photos. I also asked why we couldn't arrange the repair directly, considering they already had the photos I had sent with my original email.

Their response was that I had to use the portal.

I tried the portal again, but still had no luck. I replied explaining once again that it would not allow me to upload the photos they already had, and received a one-line response:

“Have you even removed the protective film on the front of the screen?”

I replied that if Chase had actually read my previous emails, they would have seen that the missing protective film was one of the problems I had already reported — the film had been removed before I received the unit.

Their response was that they could assess it once I went through the portal, despite me having already explained numerous times that the portal was not working for me.

They did not reply to that email or any of my subsequent emails.

Based on this experience, I was left with the impression that if you're located outside WA, you could potentially be sent a second-hand or used product, knowing that returning it to a physical store may not be an option. Once you have the product, it feels like you're left with very few options. They responded a couple of times initially, but once the portal issue couldn't be resolved, communication stopped.

From this experience, I feel that iTech World sold me an item that was below the standard I would reasonably expect from a product advertised and sold as new.

In the end, I sold the unit they sent me on Marketplace. The loss I took was roughly equivalent to the postage costs and the 10% return fee, and it was a whole lot easier than continuing to deal with the returns process.

I ended up purchasing another unit from KickAss Products instead, and I have found their unit to be far superior and much better quality.

And finally, if “Chase” is an AI system, maybe it needs to be trained to read the entire email before responding. If it's a person, perhaps they should read the entire email before replying.

Unfortunately, my iTechworld 40A DCDC failed after around 10 months, so still within the 12-month warranty period. operate. It didn’t really make sense to me technically, but I gave it a go. No change.

I contacted tech support again the following month and was then asked to test the solar input through the alternator feed. Again, I followed the advice and again there was no change.

By that point I was pretty frustrated. I had already done enough testing to be reasonably confident the DCDC itself had failed, and after reading a number of reviews from others who had experienced DCDC issues, I decided to replace it with a REDARC. It cost a wee bit more, but reliability was more important to me.

What prompted me to write this review was my most recent call to iTechworld. I was told the unit was now outside its warranty period and they would not support it, despite having records showing I had reported and troubleshooted the fault well within the warranty period.

The explanation was that because I didn’t contact them again with the results of the second troubleshooting exercise, the warranty process had not been completed. That was the most disappointing part for me. The fault was reported during the warranty period and I had contacted them twice trying to resolve it.

I even offered to drop the unit off at an upcoming 4WD and camping show to save the postage, but that wasn’t an option either.

To be fair, the lady I spoke with was pleasant and I have no issue with her personally. My disappointment is with the process and the outcome.

I originally chose iTechworld because I wanted to support a local Australian brand, but unfortunately I came away disappointed with both the reliability of the product and the after-sales support.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t purchase this DCDC charger again.

The rechargeable light is good although the magnets could be stronger, however, it is a miracle it arrived undamaged as it had just been put in a plastic postal envelope that had no padding and was not wrapped other than it's packaging.

I replaced my Camper's power system with 2 x 120XPro batteries, a 40A Premium Control Hub with an integrated DC-DC40 charger and 500A shunt, a BC 40 AC-DC charger, a 2000W inverter. When camping I use a 300w solar blanket. I am very please with the ease of installation and now how effectively the system is operating in both overcast and fine weather. The staff person assisting us with the selection of the best system to suit our needs was extremely helpful making the choice very easy. We haven't had an opportunity to use the system yet but will be doing so in the next few weeks. Reading the user manual made understanding the system easy. Delivery was very prompt. Purchase 2 /120ah lithium batteries in our caravan, by to replace AGM batteries. Simple install into our existing system without any upgrades. The batteries performed as promised.the batteries were $60 dearer than the high quality AGM that I have changed 3 times in 6 years.with only half the usable storage of the Itechworld lithium. Show details ·  1

working :( The service and replacement of the two batteries was good BUT I only have used the charger a few times, it's still in the box. They won't replace it or they say they cannot fix it, but have offered me a a new charger at a discounted price. I think they should replace it.

The help on selecting the right sized generator was great, submitted a request and got a call back when we discussed the needs and sizing. Placed the order whilst on the phone and the order was delivered within three days. Have used and it powers the caravan aircon which was the major load that would be applied. Show details ·  1
