Ergobaby Hip Seat

Buy from any retailer rather than their website! – I feel the hip seat is not as good as my ergobaby 360 carrier, so I decided to return it. The customer service is a waste. After spending $20+ postage, after the return was received half a month ago, after two emails asking if the refund was processed, no refund was received by now. Just do not buy anything from the ergobaby website!

exact same issue- as though they had sent me the same carrier. I ended up just asking for a refund, they have offered me most of the amount, though they’re not even refunding me the full amount that I paid, as on their system it states they refunded me money prior- this was because I paid for shipping for the first carrier to be sent back.

They’re now refusing to pay me the remainder of the amount- so I’m out of pocket on shipping, for a carrier that was unusable. They have however offered me a $30 voucher- which I have declined.

I’ve ended up just losing time, effort and money on this entire ordeal. I’m sure the carriers themselves are fantastic, it’s just this whole experience has been a nightmare and left a foul taste in my mouth.

Excellebt product, can't wait to use it more – I've only used the ergobaby hip seat for 2 days but so far it seems like a worth while investment. I have the ergobaby performance that someone gave me second hand. Bub loved it for sleeping when he was little, but now at 4 months he wants to be held lots and looking around and forward facing. comfortable on a seat both forward and backward. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I found that when I have him on my hip I want the seat a bit lower, but when I wanted to attach the back support to turn him around I wanted the seat more on my waist - because there's Velcro you have to take the whole seat off (and Bub) to adjust the position/tightness on your body. I think when bub gets a little bigger this won't be an issue.

A pure joy! – Love it! Originally had the babybjorn outdoor carrier which was going well, however it was so time consuming to put on. This is just a joy to put on, super easy to transition in and out of. No more pressure on baby's bottom bits as it's has a more balanced structural base for the bub to sit on.  Show reply
