The TV is decent for the price, but it’s not perfect. The picture quality is good in bright scenes, though darker scenes lose some detail. The sound is okay, but you’ll probably want external speakers for a better experience. The smart features work, but the interface can feel a bit slow at times. Overall, it’s a solid budget option—nothing amazing, but it gets the job done.

Terrible after sales service. Don't buy! – Worst dryer ever had! Heating stopped and returned randomly. Contacted Residentia the manufacturer and they referred me to recommended repairer. They came out for $140 and couldn't fault it or diagnose the problem. Randomly as usual it worked when he was here. 10 minutes after he left went cold again! They said nothing they could do unless it… Read more

totally broke down. Only got two winters out of it with minimal use! Always maintained it in accordance with instructions. Poor service and fobbed me off! Last time I buy this brand!

Not The Best – I bought this dryer about a year ago. Straight away I knew there was an issue with the lint catcher having gaps and letting fluff through, my laundry was covered in it! I let Esatto know and they authorised a refund or exchange (how I wish I accepted the refund), I exchanged it with no dramas. Well the second one was exactly the same however I let… Read more

it go for 3 weeks (2 weeks was the maximum time for exchange with AO) and I would have had to have a service repairman come to inspect it. It was all too much so I contacted Esatto again and was promised a replacement lint catcher. When it finally arrived it still had gaps just the same as the original one, so now I have 2 catchers both with gaps. I emailed Esatto again but to this date I haven't heard back from them. Another problem is that the dryer doesn't have a reverse tumble feature which is a problem when you are drying big items like quilt covers, they end up in a big ball with the outside dry and the inside still wet. I have to take it out and unravel it mid cycle (multiple times).

It is a bit noisy where the air comes out of the front vent but as mine is away in the laundry it's not a big issue.

The size is excellent, I can really fit a lot in there, it dries really well and the price was great.

Customer service is pretty good, although they don't always get back to you straight away.

In the photos it looks like the catcher is full but there wasn't much in there at all.

Won’t last long – I am on my third replacement from appliances online. It might be a faulty batch maybe, but the lint filter does not fit well so a lot of lint and dust is getting past the filter and getting sucked into the machine. I don’t have a clothes line and being a family of 5 I rely on the dryer a lot and with this fault this machine won’t last very long. The condenser feature is good though- there’s much less humidity compared to a vented dryer. Show details

Excellent all round! – I purchased this dryer two months ago and it has been used quite a bit this winter. It worked out of the box with little set up beyond a read of the instruction book. It is fairly quiet and dries my clothes well. On the few occasions where it is not quite dry enough I put it on extra, but usually the automatic setting does well for almost… Read more ·  1

everything. I bought the extra 3 year warranty and asked for the name of my local repair man as I live in regional NSW. This was provided promptly by the people who handle the servicing for Esatto. The machine has been great, no condensation on this very cold winter has been a boon and the machine I hope is saving me money with it's six star rating. In addition it was half the price of the Bosch model (although the Bosch was 9 kg) 7 g is a good size and exactly matches my washing machine. Time will tell if it is good in the long run, but it has certainly started off well drying my clothes gently with no tangles to my satisfaction. Emptying the water and cleaning filters is not a chore. Overall a good experience and I would recommend.

Entry level products can be great, this is one! – Value for money right here. Even better when the whole transaction is via Appliances Online, I ordered at 8pm via the phone and it was delivered PM the next day and they took my old one away - wow. Pros: Easy to unpack, reasonable easy to install via the wall mount bracket. The included stick-on template for drilling the mounting holes in… Read more

the wall is a fantastic idea.

The instructions are clear.

It dries the clothes.

It has a simple user interface (buttons), and is quite in operation compared to my old Simpson. I do agree with others about the humidity sensor, I think it maybe dries for a bit too long than necessary - but if you went the other way people would complain clothes remain wet.

It has a great capacity.

My wife can even use it without instructions :)

Cons:

The lint filter seems to be optimised for floor mounting as it drops vertically down into a slot and can potentially catch random "things". When wall mounting, the lint filter is upside down and the "things" may just fall out - you can't defy gravity. Not a big deal, just probably an oversight if you over-think it.

Comments:

Don't be worried about energy efficiency, if you need to dry your clothes you need heat. To get heat, you need power. The more power it sucks, the quicker the clothes dry! Snap.

I have read a comment about the drier making lots of moisture in the room etc - well that's what it's designed to do and without an external vent this will happen - I actually noticed that my tiles are less damp - go figure.

I'd happily recommend this to anyone that isn't looking for fancy schmancy.

Probably wouldn't buy one again - I should have stuck with my Simpson Ezi Dry 6kg – I bought this machine to replace my 6kg Simpson Ezi Dryer as it is a SENSOR dryer, and I needed to stop the kids (Twenty somethings) over drying and wasting electricity. It looks great - its reasonably quiet and I have walled mounted the machine which was very easy to do BUT... This machine creates so much condensation my laundry walls and… Read more

doors end up with water running down them - which didn't happen with the Simpson.

There is heap more lint that comes out of the vent - all over the floor, walls and ceiling - which didn't happen with the Simpson. (The lint guard/filter is cleaned after every use)

I'm not convinced with the SENSOR function - I find it over drys clothes on the 'Standard Dry' setting to the point I can smell them burning and leaves them damp on the 'Light Dry' setting - note my clothes are spun in the washing machine on 1200rpm - same as when I had the Simpson Dryer - so no change to the level of dampness when I put them into the dryer from the washing machine.

I will be contacting Esatto as the main reason for the change was for the SENSOR function, if I could go back in time - I would have stayed with my Simpson for sure.

great dryer – I dry al types of clothing, towels sheets etc. The dryer is great and clothes come out wrinkle free. Only one downside it is heavy on electricity. But no condensation in laundry or house is a big bonus. I would highly recommend this product. Show details ·  1

Fire hazard – We’re on our 2nd unit - 1st one was replaced as the heat sensor was not regulating the temperature, almost burning out apartment down. The 2nd unit has now started with the same problem. It gets incredibly hot to the point that the clear plastic door turns opaque (this happens on the low setting as well). Avoid this terrible machine at all cost! Show details

Not Good for lint blows everywhere – Have had this machine for about a year now too ....I second Brutop 100% by saying we suppose you get what you pay for definitely applies here. This dryer always has bad condensation issues and I always without fail blows lint/fluff all over the laundry and throughout the whole appartment in all bedrooms. I am very disappointed to say the least.....however I will mention that it does dry the clothes and like other people have mentioned Show details

Does dry washing but FAR TOO HOT and DOES NOT TURN OFF when dry – I select mix and standard but it does not turn off when dry - the items are SO HOT (can hardly touch them) AND I'm frightened to use it without constantly checking on it in case it OR items burst into flames! If it had a timer, or the sensor worked it would be okay as it is fast. It is a bit noisy and I'm so sorry I got rid of my old Haier (still working) as I could choose a time AND it did the reverse tumbling! Show details

A good dryer. Uses a bit more power than others – My real reason to buy this dryer was the size. It needed to fit in a 600mm wide space. The dryer is 595mm, so it did fit (other brands, 600mm+ wide will not fit). I installed it per the instructions and I've dryed 2 loads. All good. I used the 'auto' dry setting. This dryer was cheap ($299). It's well built and looks fine. So far, no complaints. … Read more

If you decide to buy one, follow the installation instructions and you will get good results. This dryer needs good airflow at the back. The intake and exhaust are in the back, so ensure you have plenty of airflow and it will work well. The controls are simple.

Very Disappointed - Cooks clothes - but now happy with customer service – I purchased this vented dryer from a well known online retailer on the 3/1/2021 which was delivered on the 5th Jan 2021. On the very first modest load it cooked the clothes. On reading other reviews I see that other people have had similar problems with the "clothes dried sensor". The filter canister is also an issue and not very efficient as it… Read more

lets fluff escape . I contacted the retailer immediately and I'm still waiting for a technician to turn up. Meanwhile I can't use it. Very very disappointed.

UPDATE - I finally got through to customer service. They asked me what I wanted so I said that I wanted to return the dryer and get a refund. They were very pleasant and helpful. It was picked up withing 48 hours and my refund just came through today. It's a shame about the dryer but the customer service excellent and I am happy with the result. Chris.

Ruins most clothes – Does anyone else have an issue with clothes getting stuck in the rim of the door? This dryer has ruined so many clothes. It chews everything - collars of school/business shirts, anything with a drawstring. We literally have it yank the clothes out of it, and they’re covered in grease and ripped. It’s driving me nuts.  Show details

Huge condensation & fluff problem – Can't say I am happy with this dryer. There is a major problem with condensation, it drips down the walls, ceiling & floors are wet. Beside the condensation, there is a fine layer of fluff everywhere in the room every time it gets used. Pay the extra for a better brand. I regret not returning it within 30 days to the vendor to exchange. Show details

Caused a fire that almost burnt my house down – I had this dryer for 2.5 years before it caused a fire. As other reviews have mentioned, the lint filter is not fine enough, it allows lint into parts of the dryer where it can catch fire. I cleaned the filter before every use, but this did not prevent the fire. Well, it did catch fire, by the time I realised it was on fire the flames were… Read more

Very disappointed – I purchased my Essato 7kg after my old dryer died. WASHING MACHINE – Essato is a brand I purchased though (appliances online). Delivery 7/8/18 at $415. So far I have had this for over a year and is working very well. Normally I would choose a well known brand but since my last washing machine was Simpson and lasted only 6 years. Not worth paying more if it will break down so quickly. Show details ·  1

It tangles my clothes & they don’t dry right through – I have to use a clothes dryer just about daily, due to allergies & hypersensitivity to so many different things. Basic dryer that does the job – Bought this after our Simpson dryer died after a long, malingering, painful screaming death. So far so good. Dries clothes well and the fact it switches itself off when clothes are dry is a big bonus in saving electricity. It seems to be quieter than our previous dryer. The price was great for a 7kg so I consider it excellent value.  Show details

Very good 6 KG CLOTHES DRYER – I am very satisfied with this machine. I find it relatively quiet which is a good thing since I have it in a common clothes washing and drying area in the complex in which I live and therefore it doesn't disturb the people in the adjacent units. Dries clothes well and has an automatic shutoff when clothes are dry, so there's no need to try to guess and set a time. AAA.  Show details

Quite Good Doesn't Bundle Clothes Up – We got this because it is a large family sized dryer for a good price. It is doing a pretty good job so far. I like that it has reverse tumbling which means it doesn't bunch all the clothes up like out last one. It has sensor drying too although I usually manually end it before it thinks its time. We will see how reliable this is in the long run but so far, so good.  Show details

concerned.

The price was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the 'name' brands, but it works very well. Streets ahead of my previous standard dryers.

I'd recommend this dryer if you are on a budget but want a heat pump dryer. With 6-star economy rating, it will pay for itself fairly quickly, compared to the usual 2 star dryers.
