times before settling into "on mode". The phone App rarely connects. The fireplace has turned itself on twice all on its own overnight and Escea head office cant figure out how or why. We have had multiple occasions where it won't turn off so we have to cut the power and turn off the gas at the mains to shut it down. We have spent months and months on the phone trying to get it sorted out. We have had holes cut into the back of our garage wall to access the fireplace, all cables replaced, we have had the circuit boards changed and upgraded twice (which they tried to charge us over $1000 for...) At one point we had a technician in for 5 straight days (about 40 hours or work!) with the whole thing dismantled and it still doesn't work predictably or reliably. Save yourself the trouble and buy a different brand.

Amazing Fireplace that can Heat Large Areas (also Great Customer Service) – The fireplace looks amazing in the living area and heats the large open space quickly and effectively. The customer service has been brilliant and quick in resolving an issue (that ended up not being related to the unit itself). The fireplace hasn't missed a beat. The install went well, and the Escea units do not require the cavity depth of other brands. This made it an easy choice to reduce the fireplace's footprint. Show details ·  1

Amazing back up service – We recently had some minor issues with flame height. After talking to two members of the Tech Support team the issues were easily resolved . We really appreciated the way they handled everything - totally professional - They are a credit to the Company. Does not work – Looks awesome and works well when working! I spent $20k in buying, installing and then building nice faux wall around it. However it stops working randomly. Escea has tried to fix it two times by replacing different parts but problem recurres. Heater is only 1.5 years old. Please buy brands who offers longer warranty.
