Donald from spare parts - Brunswick. Poor interpersonal skills and quote incomplete, that is insufficient detail. Also, he commenced using slang terminology towards me for his aim was for me to no comprehend his slang. I certainly would not treat customers with this level of disrespect.

repairs • GWM has had the car since July 9 and I still don’t have it back • ZERO updates. ZERO communication. ZERO accountability.

Trying to reach GWM service is a joke. You’ll wait days—if you ever get a response. Even GWM Head Office confirmed this is the worst-performing service centre in the state.

The car quality is poor and the service is even worse. Save yourself the headache and stay far away from GWM.

for a test drive – all without any pressure. Michael made the whole process easy and enjoyable. We also received a fantastic deal on the Tank 500 along with a fabulous trade-in price for our old car.

We honestly can’t recommend GWM Essendon highly enough. If you’re considering buying a GWM, do yourself a favour and go in to see Michael, you won’t regret it.

Starting issues - No customer support don't buy one – DON'T BUY ONE! Bought GWM Haval Ultra 2024 brand new July last year. apparently being 'checked over' by their mechanics prior to me taking possession.

1 month later I started experiencing starting issues and having IMMO4S faults. Called roadside assistance who helped me get it started and told me to get it back to the service centre ASAP, as he has had a lot of issues with these cars.

Took it into the service center who said they couldn't find the error I mentioned and put it down to 'loose battery' terminals.

I had the issue again a few weeks later and called the service center back and they basically brushed their hands of it.

I have owned the vehicle 7 months and I still get stuck at places where the car won't start, i can't lock it and the dash freezes with the same IMMO error.

I have had roadside assistance out to change the battery and it's still doing this.

I called the service center asking them to book it in, and they told me due to the backlog they can't look at it for another 4 weeks, don't have a hire car for me to use in the meantime, and my only option is to just deal with being stuck when it won't start for hours at a time.

I have tried to contact GWM customer support requesting help, and of course I haven't heard back and there's no help,

So I have a car that leaves me stranded places, won't start nor am I able to leave it and lock it.

DON'T BUY ONE

numerous challenges with after-sales service. It’s been four months since I reached out for assistance about something, and I’m still waiting for a response. The lack of communication is frustrating, and it makes me question the reliability of the brand.

I expected a high level of service when purchasing a new vehicle, but sadly, this dealership has fallen short of those expectations. I cannot recommend them based on my experience. If you’re considering buying the any Haval car from essendon gwm dealer, be prepared for potential issues with after-sales support. The car may be great, but a bad dealership experience can overshadow any positive aspects.

In summary, while the H6 GT Ultra might be a solid choice for a vehicle, I would advise potential buyers to think twice about the dealership before making a decision.

in for a test drive today but unfortunately the booking information hadn’t been passed on!

So today when we arrived for our test drive we encountered Alex! His whole demeanour was that he couldn’t be bothered and he was extremely rude! When we explained that we were there for a test drive, he said that he knew nothing of it!!! His exact words were this is so typical Dimitri…I’m guessing there’s some work politics going on!! He then sighed and said..you do realise there’s a long wait time on purchasing these cars don’t you!! We couldn’t believe his attitude!! We explained that we were just there for a test drive.

It actually gets worse! When he finally got us the car ready to drive he very patronisingly told me not to crash it because he particularly couldn’t be bothered doing the paper work! This kid was possibly in his twenties and I didn’t appreciate being spoken to in this manner!! This is without doubt the worst customer service my partner and I have ever received!! I was ready to purchase the car, but we’ll be taking our business elsewhere!!

Totally unprofessional – Purchased a Haval H6 and was originally told by the salesman verbally it would be a mid July delivery and he would get back to me with a definite date. called back again. This time it was maybe mid to late July. I said to him that I have concerns that they are not able to tell me a date and because at the bottom of the contract it said ETA Mid to late July but part of that was cut off. It was supposed to be at the top of the contract under Estimated delivery date. The salesman promised me he would call me back by COB that day but of course he didn't. My concern was that without a delivery date they could have kept pushing it back to suit them. I asked the salesman on the last call if I cancel the contract what is it going to cost me and his reply was 2% of the purchase price. I have now been informed that they are exercising their right to keep 5% which is in the contract. Since 5% is more than the deposit left which was $1137 they are keeping all of the deposit. 2% or 5% they can't seem to get the story straight. The salesman didn't have a clue from the get go and in my opinion was out of his league. Had they come up with an estimated date I would have continued with the purchase. I believe they have acted improperly they say they haven't that is yet to be decided. The H6 is a hard car to get and are being sold as quick as they hit the dealerships so in all honesty it would not have killed them to refund at least some of the deposit paid. Buyer beware if you purchase a car from this dealership make sure the contract is complete, the salesman knows what he she is doing and don't change your mind because there is a good chance you won't get your money back. One last thing I did buy another car from a Haval dealership but was planning on getting it serviced at Essendon. That's not going to happen now. Enjoy the $1137
