Disappointed with decal – After less than a year, the decals telling me which button goes with what, came off. No replacement decals available which is most disappointing. Only used a non abrasive quick wipe and mild detergent. I only use my oven once a month, was very careful, and this still happened. Most disappointed.

Same DECAL failure - no warranty – purchased in 2019 with extra product warranty. the failure of printing on the dials is a big design flaw for such a good oven. why go so cheap with the printing. its very thin and basically melted off. rang euromaid who advised it was not a warranty issue and advised we must have cleaned the panel with an abrasive which is not the case noting all prior reviews with the same problem. struggling to find similar decal stickers as we are not paying for a full control panel replacement that will fail again in a few years. Will ring the product care people today as euromaid will not take ownership of the problem

Over priced poor quality – Indicator knobs have worn off within a very short time, we now have no idea what the temperature of the oven is or which setting it’s on. Clock loses time everyday. Baking always burns on the back right hand side. Who knows if the baking timer is accurate if it’s losing time everyday. If it were much less expensive it would be passable for a holiday home, but certainly not everyday use - particularly at the high price.

Purchased in for $1,200.

No issues so far. Does what it says on the box – So far so good. We purchased our Euromaid FRC54W in May 2017, after our old stove packed it in. We were initially drawn by apparent ease of cleaning and quick heating elements associated with a ceramic glass cooktop. The ceramic glass cooktop does take some maintenance to keep clean, as they all do, but is maintained with relative ease. The heating elements heat up quickly. The indicator integrated into the glass showing which elements may still be hot even after turning them off is a handy feature.

The oven appears to work well, and has several settings (fan forced or conventional from rear element, fan forced or conventional from bottom element, and a defrost function). I haven't used them all, but those I have used work fine and seem to cook evenly.

The grill could benefit from a deeper tray (we use it to cook meat that would cook unevenly on a frypan, such as rissoles), but otherwise works well and has a good variation of heat levels.

The fan running after the oven or grill is switched off was initially off-putting, but we have got used to it. It stays on to cool down the oven/grill cavity and is a good safety feature. Normally it stays of for maybe 10 minutes, 15 tops.

The controls are up high, out of reach from children, and have a nice solid feel to them.

A quirk of this oven is that the clock needs to be set before you can use the digital oven timer (which is only an issue if you turn off the oven at an isolation switch, which we no longer do).

All in all, we are happy with our purchase so far. It is certainly light years ahead of the old Westinghouse stove that replaced it.
