Short life Span – My WM8 wouldnt drain after 4.5 years of use. Went through all the maintenance steps but figured the drain pumped konked out. Very important appliance at our home – Great washing machine. Have been using it for 1.5 years now and it never troubled us. Always useful especially if you have proactive children at home. I’ve load tested it using it for three times a day, it went absolutely fine. Show details ·  1

Good unit for a value price – Have had the machine for about 6 months, generally do 7 loads a week and it does it's job well. Good value, basic machine when you don't need 50 options! Due to short spin time on quick wash, clothes are still quite wet, but that's not an issue in the Australian summer, or simply do an extra spin.  Show details ·  1

Great washer with one annoying problem! – Firstly was really put off by the delivery men from AOL, sure it was a hot day and close to knock off time, but they didn't have to be so narky and rude. back on the truck and I will cancel the sale', they soon changed their minds.

Then every time the washer has been used, the bottom of the main door seal remains full of water so as you remove the clean, spun dried clothes they get wet again. The water in this seal never disappears, not even when the door is left open for a whole week. Requested a warranty call and the service man wasn't happy and didn't see it as a 'big deal' but for me it was because if I had known about this problem I would never have purchased this machine.

Euromaid followed up after first service call and adjustment, then sent a new door seal but nothing has changed and I was fed up with the continual complaints by the service bloke and EM haven't followed up this time so seems as though I just have to suck it up because I don't want the same service bloke again. Btw, the machine was only purchased in April and does one load of washing per week.

Like other people, sometimes I have to give an additional Rinse 'n Spin cycle specially during Winter so clothes will dry quicker and would be nice if the 1200 rpm spin option was available on all cycles, but it cleans Ok, is super quiet with no vibrations...just this niggling water puddle in the door threshold which really annoys me. Mostly I use a towel etc to soak up the water, then you have a wet towel which needs to be spun dry, then you are back to square one with that water remaining in the seal... but shouldn't have to do that if the machine worked (and was designed) correctly.

If this door puddle wasn't so annoying I would give this machine 5 stars!

pretty good, takes a bit longer than expected but a great wash – Cleans really well. Very quiet even when spinning fast. Clothes are not creased after spin and are rinsed very well. Huge drum for a large wash. The clock is very useful, you know exactly when it will finish. Great washer! – It washes and rinses very well. "Daily Express" option is fantastic (25 minutes) although it needs an extra spin cycle to fully dry large loads or heavy things like towels. It does not wear out my clothes and it is relatively quiet - can hear it from the other room but it's not too bad. It's very simple and easy to use. Love this washer!  Show details ·  1

Cleans well and holds a lot – We bought this product for a holiday property as it has good ratings and was on special. We have a newborn (lots of soiled clothes) and it cleans really well. little trouble getting it to balance so the spin cycle is a bit loud but I think our floor is not flat as opposed to a product issue. All other parts of the cycle are quiet and at 8kgs it holds a heap, queen bed sheets and towels with no problem and everything comes out looking and smelling clean and fresh.

Not worth the hassle – I bought the WM8 a year and a half ago to have it suddenly died! Won't turn on or do anything. I also went throughout the hassle of purchasing the dryer and approved stacking kit as a live in a small apartment. All are euromaid products and have been professionally installed. under warranty to be told no one will come out unless the dryer has been unhinged from the stacking kit and taken down. There is no way I can do this on my own. So essentially I'm going to have to pay someone to come and take down the dryer (they couldn't even give me the name of a euromaid approved technician so this could screw the warranty of all 3 products). So frustrating!

Terrible! Broken at delivery waiting over a week for a new one!! – Used the washing machine once and worked,next time it stopped at spin cycle, cut off and tried again. called technician who said faulty machine and order a new part. I then called ack to question why a brand new machine would be like this and told part on back order could take up to 2 months! Demanded a new machine, they agreed and ordered. Still… Read more

waiting a week later and heard nothing! I have no machine. Such a joke. Appliances online delivered in 1 day!!!!! Very very disappointed!!

SO FAR SO GOOD – Bought this today after terribly disappointing experience with Samsung front loader (long ineffective washes and broken door seal). Was really impressed with the quick wash (28 mins) and how clean the clothes were afterwards. Kids white school socks were hopeless in the Samsung but came out pretty clean in the Euromaid in nearly half the time. Washes hot – Arrived yesterday. Washes highest temperature possible (90) on all programs even though manually changed/set to cold before starting. Wasn't aware it would be a problem and first load appeared to be washing fine so I didn't stop the load - all clothes (work uniforms) in that load shrunk!! and tried everything possible but it will not wash in cold. Machine is a single water hose attachment, and it is attached to the cold tap only. Retailer will not assist until I speak to Euromaid customer service, but machine arrived after 5.00pm on Friday and they are not available now until Monday AM. Another weekend of not being able to do my laundry while I wait for Euromaid to be available.

Otherwise machine worked very well and I am very happy with it, just cannot afford the energy cost to wash all clothes in very hot water, and cannot afford for everything to shrink.
