Euromatic 5.2kW White A008A-18C

Been great for a couple of years, but now it's misbehaving, and there's basically NO information about it anywhere – I've used this product for quite some time and it's been adequate. Last night, however, it stopped worked and started beeping incessantly. The manual says NOTHING about this condition. There's NO information on the internet that I can find about it. Great performance but fiddly setup – This is my first time installing a portable air conditioner; The duct / hose is very flexible but quite painful to thread into the piece that secures it to the air conditioner. after a while, yet the dehumidifying is perfect for a tropical climate; In less than an hour our humidity went from 86% down to 58% about three metres away from the unit and not directly in the air flow.

Cooling is noticeable instantly in the immediate flow of air from the unit; Having it blow across your feet when it first starts is great.

It won't be a miracle replacement for a "proper" air conditioner by any means except in smaller rooms. We use it in our lounge room that also has an open kitchen so around 35 square metres. In a bedroom would be perfect but it's still useable out here

If you have trouble dealing with humidity this is a great buy and much cheaper than getting a new air con installed if you don't really need one. Be careful if you have a hernia or can't lift over 25kg as it is quite heavy until you get it out of the box; It comes with castor wheels pre-installed so once you get it out it's much easier.
