Evakool Ridge Ryder DC70

Not cooling – Just wondering my dc70 63ltr turns on can adjust temperature no error codes or anything bit doesn't cool down it just stays at 23°c what could it be or is it stuffed

Absolute junk! 5 months out of warranty and the company won't touch it! – This thing has lived in my garage. No camping, no corrugated roads, no rough treatment at all. Not a scratch on it. campers would have put up with the rattles and whines), so just kept it in the garage.

Sure as the sun rises, just out of warranty it stops cooling. Contacted them and they washed their hands of it. I expect a fridge to last a lot longer than 2.5 years. Will be following through with my consumer rights shortly.

DO NOT BUY EVAKOOL PRODUCTS!! The product is poor quality, and they don't back their product at all.

Wary of company – Was thinking of buying another eva cool product, but not interested in chinese junk, cannot understand companies that do not look after customers, bad news travels fast, just ask Jeep.

Used twice, had lots of issues, now doesn't cool down at all – Bought as a christmas present. weather and hes had it for years with no issues at all. Going to get it fixed and sell it then buy another engel. I would much rather spend the extra money and know were not going to have our food go off in the middle of no where.

Will not work – Purchased 2 years and 2 months ago. Have literally used this fridge once on my rear patio. Has been stored wrapped up since. No support for warranty – Warranty not honoured by company. Negative customer experience from dealing with [name removed] warranty manager. Works well .but no good tie down points – I got the ridge ryder a couple of years ago and it does work well as a fridge or freezer .my only issue is tying it down.the handles are rivnutted on to thin plate and not strong enough to keep a full fridge secure when off roading.i would not buy another  Show details

THE GOOD:

- 63 litre capacity (21lt draw & 42lt top basket) Drawer can hold up to 24 CANS.

- NO FRIDGE SLIDE REQUIRED, this is money saver for the back of the 4wd

- Two year EvaKool nationwide warranty

- Temperature range setting -18°C to 10°C

- Durable metal lid

- Multi voltage system DC (12 and 24Volt) and AC (240Volt) operation

- Easy to read LED display

- Two speed setting with turbo performance

- Amp draw while running is 4.5 amps/h & 6amp/h on turbo mode

THE BAD

- Can't stand a 2lt milk bottle or drink bottle without losing the use of slide out draw.

- No transit cover bag available

Apart from the 2 minor negatives this fridge is truly amazing and i don't think anyone would be disappointed with it after buying it. Also don't pay full retail, wait for a special which happens a lot or contact evakool to buy a seconds for half the price :)
