Doesn't clean or dry very well – This dishwasher was in the house when we bought it and it was only a year or two old. I've never had a good result from it. The washing functions take way too long and it doesn't always wash well. I followed recommendations that said scrape excess off but don't rinse before washing, but it resulted in food particles still left on the plates.… Read more
Rinsing well before washing stopped this but what's the point of having a dishwasher if you've already basically washed them before you put the machine on? Main gripe though is that it doesn't dry well. If you don;t open the door when the cycle is finished, the next morning the plates have sweated and are cold. The drying cycle doesn't remove water from the cups and glasses upside down on the top layer either so they have to be wiped. Wouldn't buy one by choice.
Perfect Dish washer – 2 years on and my Sir Swish is the love of my life! Still working perfectly so cannot understand why others had problems. Perfectly clean dishes every time. No pre rinse required. Show details · 1
Dont Buy this dishwasher. DWF 146WC1.Worst ever I have had. Does not clean – This dishwasher is poorly designed. The racks do not fit a dinner plate and items have to be positioned just so , so that they dont slip down and obstruct the spinning arm. I have to re wash most items after being through the cycle. Washed Ok when new then got progressively worse. I clean it regularly but nothing improves the woeful performance. Show details

confused – Started out working well now I get 50/50 results. I have cleaned it, put vineger through but half the time the dishes have gunk splashed on them and the cutlery is not clean. Any ideas?? Show details

Waste of space – I have been in a rental property for a little over a year now. Our lovely landlords purchased a new everdure dishwasher before we moved in. So it was new. It has however never behaved this way, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone. The dishes seem to come out worse than they start. We have tried everything. I’ve put dishwasher… Read more
cleaners through it. I have checked and cleaned the filter. I’ve watched YouTube clips and done vinegar cycles to better clean it. Nothing seems to work. I’ve given up on it being any more than a waste of kitchen space.

Excellent machines & excellent customer care – We always install these dishwashers in new renovations and kitchen upgrades. Used them since they first appeared in Bunnings stores and yes they are cheap but they work well. The new 450mm model is really good. I have the new model 600 in my home and its fine, had an issue with the soap drawer and they organised a repair guy straight away. Called the 1300 number, sent the email and the guy turned up. Done. Worked well for a while – It worked well for the first year or so, now, despite cleaning it, the washing powder in the trap it sits in doesn't dissolve, so the dishes don't get clean. Thanks to this post though I will be able to contact everdure for an attempt at servicing it before I toss it out in disgust. Show details
ONLY FOR A RENTAL PROPERTY – OK is about the best I would rate this product, you get what you pay for, it is quiet, it cleans OK, it uses an OK amount of power and water, it does look as good in the kitchen as a model twice or more the price, it has no utensil basket, so I use the one from the old machine, and the built in tray for these is "worse than useless" but it is an OK Machine "if you need to put one in a rental" Show details

I can see why it has been discontinued. Show details

Follow Up - 2 months in brilliant! – We bought this dishwasher 2 months ago and it has been a dream! It washes really well and dries the bottom rack well (top rack drying not the best but not that big a deal.) It is a little loud but never intrudes on our sleep, and it's way better than standing around washing dishes! Not much more to say really but it's serving us really well for a $100 eBay special and definitely exceeded our expectations! We would recommend it!
Everdure DWF146WE: 2 days in and so far amazing! – We purchased an Everdure DWF146WE 2 days ago used on eBay for a very small price and so far it has been absolutely brilliant! Washes dishes and leaves them gleaming (with Finish tablets). We have been packing it to the absolute brim and running on Normal cycle. Still washes brilliantly. Feels a bit cheap and drying pretty mediocre on the top rack… Read more
but is fine on the bottom. but we don't care. Highly Recommended! Follow up coming soon! It sure beats standing in front of a sink with a soggy sponge.
Still really happy - working just as it should! :-) – For all you nay-sayers, I just wanted to add that we continue to have no problems with this Everdure dishwasher and we've now had it for about 18 months. Of course the fittings are cheap - but surely you expected that when you bought such a cheap dishwasher?? We have found that as long as we treat it with care, don't overfill and don't force the… Read more · 2
drawers if something is stuck so they're not moving freely - ie look first! - then it all works just fine and does what it says it will. We've experienced no cracks or broken components and we're still very happy with its performance. We have no problems using dishwasher tablets and rinse aid (they all fully dissolve etc). And we have found that the filter works just fine if it is cleaned regularly - even with the fancy dishwashers - eg Miele, Bosch, Smeg etc it is recommended that you remove and rinse the filters once a week.
14/12/15 UPDATE: Still going, still cleans the dishes. Cheap, effective, does what it should Bit noisy

Know better, choose better.
Worst dishwasher and worst company – I bought an Everdure dishwasher from bunnings and in less than a year it had developed a large rust spot on the inside back wall that was causing rust splashes on items in the dishwasher. Everdure accepted my warranty claim and after a month of waiting and chasing them up I was told that the warranty doesn't cover rust, so bad luck for me. Rubbish product and rubbish service. I would not recommend Everdure to anyone.
A sad goodbye! (A follow up to my previous posts) – I gave the Everdure to my son who had shifted into another house in October 2014. I switched to my spare new machine. He used it for about 14 months, although only about 3-4 times a week as he was on his own. It finally went onto the naturestrip hard rubbish collection a few weeks ago. He said it still worked but was making a few strange noises… Read more
during the wash cycle. Not a bad run from a budget machine, but if I hadn't repaired it,see previous posts, it would have been tossed long ago.

A follow up from my post of October 29. A week later I set to work, more from disappointment than anger, at the short lifespan of this Dishwasher and using my engineering skills gained over 40 years, used aluminum sheet and the remains of the door switch to build a new handle/switch unit. I attached it to the top control panel using screws and spacers in place of the broken plastic mounts. Apart from the existing crack in the control panel and the visible screw heads, the unit now works fine. Obviously not a repair your everyday buyer can undertake. 7 weeks later it still does a great job of washing dishes so I’m surprised at the comments from others about poor cleaning. We use Aldi dish-washing detergent (powder) and stack dishes carefully to allow full water circulation, maybe their spray arm or pump is not working properly. Anyway, I still can’t recommend this brand to others and as a backup; I have a brand new D*****x unit (still in its packaging) waiting in the garage for this one to fail again. Pity Everdure didn’t use better quality plastics because otherwise it would be a good unit. I will see just how much longer I get out of it and post again if and when it finally dies.
Previous review:
Purchased new from Bunnings 20/01/2012 at low cost of $425.00 because at time I was flat broke! Minor niggle was; didn't care for cutlery basket setup (I prefer forks/knives facing downwards, not pointing up) so removed cutlery basket top guides to suit. Performance: probably the best at cleaning dishes I've ever owned (including an AEG dishwasher costing $1600.00). However, the plastic front control panel cracked fairly quickly and now (October 2013) the door opening handle with safety switch has broken/collapsed meaning the washer won't work.at all. Just 18-19 months of use makes it an expensive machine compared to a life expectancy of around 5-6 years for your basic Dishlex and similar budget machines. I can't complain because I didn't expect a Rolls-Royce for the price, but I'll never buy another. Inexpensive and good cleaning performance So So quality drags it back from me recommending to others
Rubbish – I can see that Everdure have discontinued this product and I can see why. The fact that this is even called a 'dishwasher' is a lie as it rarely actually leaves our dishes clean. We have had to put a load of dishes through up to 3 times and there would still be dirt on the plates (even on the longest and hottest cycle using good quality dishwasher… Read more
tablets). We are now looking for a new dishwasher - what a waste of money! Thank goodness you can't buy this product anymore but be warned - you get what you pay for....
Doesn't wash, doesn't dry, needs cleaning after almost everything wash, noisy, generally just rubbish
Just to add to how rubbish this dishwasher is - now a few years on the dishwasher trays/racks are rusting and have melted!! What a waste of money!!!
Works well, cheap price – We've had an everdure now for over a year. Bought it for our barn shed we did up to live in while our house was built. Never had a problem, cleans well, and drys well. The quality and features are what you expect for one of the cheapest, and from Bunnings. Filters are good, bottom spray area is steel, and we use it at least twice a day. Trays are… Read more
ok, not as smooth rolling as a $1200 dishwasher. Actually has lasted longer than several other models.... Better designed than a Whirlpool.... Last one had so many problems after a year we tossed it for a dishlex, which was perfect. That was in. Our last place. Anyway our xperience of an everdue is good. The best wash is on heavy cycle which takes a while, and its not the quietest dishwasher, but perfect for the price. Price, no problems, cleans and drys well... Works best on heavy cycle. Drys best on that cycle. Takes a while, and noiser than a dishlex.
Awful – Everdure have made a terrible dishwasher. They use very plastic parts and filters which cannot cope with dishwasher tablets as my dishwasher has already had cracked filters, cracked spray arms and I just find it doesn't wash dishes very well. More importantly is the drying cycle, it seems to not exist. There is so much water on everything that I… Read more
have to wipe everything by hand even though the dishes are hot.
My white finish is not white anymore, its gone yellow now. Also the water usage increases by about 50% when you need to use the intensive wash.
Poor build quality
Horrible, just horrible – We used one of these dishwashers in a rental property for seven months. It was part of a new Bunnings kitchen put in by the owner. Everything was cheap and nasty, every little part of it - the drawers, the doors, the benchtop, and the utterly useless Everdure appliances. For a start, this dishwasher is tiny. Normal sized dinner plates don't… Read more
stand up in the bottom drawer, so need to be draped across other things.
Secondly, the drawers are constantly coming off their tracks.
Third, everything needs to be pretty much cleaned before hand to come out clean at the end.
Fourth, the machine seemed to only complete a cycle when it felt like it. For no reason we were able to discover, half the time it just seemed to stop in the middle of a cycle and that was that.
Would not recommend to anyone.
Small, poorly made, inconsistent and sub-standard performance.
Don't ever buy an Everdure product – Brought this dishwasher above and 9 days later it broke down, it took 7 days for someone from the company to come out and fix it which we were told was because we were using dish washer tablets and this type of dish washer prefers powder as it uses less water than others and tablets create too many suds. So we started using powder immediately. 2… Read more
months later exactly the same thing happened again so i rang everdure straight away and asked for a replacement but was refused. They came and looked at it 7 days later and we were told that it was a slow leak in the sump and a replacement part would have to be ordered which would take a couple of weeks, in the meantime we could still use it and if it tripped the flood warning again to tip it backwards and drain it and leave it over night before using it again. They said they would contact us when the part had arrived to book in the repair. We left it 3 weeks and then rang them which we had to do a couple of times before someone actually rang us back. Finally the part arrived and a date was set for it to be installed, then the day before, they rang us to say that the part could not be installed at our place and they would have to take the dishwasher to the factory for about 3 days as it required a special tool, there was no offer of a replacement dishwasher while ours was repaired. We rang and spoke to the manager and said we want a replacement as this dishwasher was clearly faulty but he refused and said that they dont replace and only repair as they just order it and sell it to the retailer so it was not their responsibility to replace it and we could try and return it to where we bought it from. Never felt so let down buy a company.
Leak that kept setting off the flood warning and a useless company
Useless – I have had this for a few weeks for a rental property and it's been nothing but trouble. Plastic spray arm has cracked, basket wheels are plastic and have snapped and the filter system doesn't filter property. I have spoken to someone at the customer helpline which wasn't helpful. I went to the retailer and they didn't want to know about it.… Read more
The service department told me it was a good dishwasher and was better than another local retailers's choice. Nothing other than it was cheap. Doesn't wash and is breaking apart.
Great value for money – I have had this dishwasher for about 2 weeks now and am happy with its performance. The instructions are clear and have provided detailed troubleshooting (like dishes not drying properly/cleaning properly etc.) which for me has avoided any problems. Great value for money, rinse aid has a dial so you can it up if the dishes aren't drying… Read more
effectively. The cutlery basket is fantastic compared to old school ones. You can fold down the racks at the bottom to make room for pots/casserole dishes etc. The top rack was height adjustable which worked perfect as we have large square dinner plates that do not fit all dishwashers. We have the stainless steel model which is stylish and easy to clean. If you are after a quiet dishwasher, this is not for you. This is not a big problem for us as it is ran during the day but I have noticed it can get quite noisy when changing cycles. Also make sure you push the top rack right in until it clicks as it needs to connect to the hose at the back for the dishwasher to work (the water goes through this hose and comes out the spray fan). Minor 'cons' for such great value!
