Replacement cartridges S54 – I personally have never had any negative incidents and have been using the replacement cartridges for a few years. As for staff being pushy I have never encountered this and when I did on one occasion receive a faulty one the customer service I received was excellent. Three of us in our household use these daily and definitely taste the difference. One being a definitely lighter fluid.
Pays to Shop Around – We had an Everpure under-sink single cartridge system installed when our house was built in 2006. The system works great, not the slightest hint of chlorine. The original Everpure H-54 cartridges have been replaced every 12 months and we haven't had any problems with the system except; being in a new residential area, each time the mains system is… Read more
interrupted with the fitting of new water meters, the filter can be blocked with silt if you don't notice the brown tap water and flush the house supply before using the water filter.
The replacement H-54 cartridge (the H-54 is identical to the S-54 except the S doesn't have a scale inhibitor and therefore is a cheaper alternative if you don't have an issue with scale) is expensive if sourced locally but is cheaper (check the exchange rates though) if purchased overseas. eFilters.ca currently (as of Jan 2014) has the S-54 at $CA55.00. (I purchased 2 late last year and the total cost was $A113.00 inc. postage.) Great to have chlorine-free water on tap. Replacement cartridges are expensive if purchased locally (if you buy bottled water, the cartridges are the cheaper option)
Bad – The filtered water system is assummed to work...it tastes ok but what we didn't like was the pushy staff. After they received our completed warrranty detail, ie providing our name, installation address and date installed they wrote back and wanted home phone numders, work numbers, mobiles and email addresses. Why would they need ??...they… Read more
probaly want to harass us to buy replacement filters through a national call centre.....which you must buy and pay delivery, which is included in the price, without providing a shop front to purchase. Their office is only 10min from our home. Say no to this form of home invasion The convenience of filtered water on tap in your our new home On lodging warranty detail they wanted personal contact detail that is considered private and not necessary. They have our name , installation date and address at which filter was installed
Terrible – Unit was supplied as part of a Nobbys kitchen, so I guess they figure they've got the Knobby's market sown up. We've since bought one of them fridges that dispense ice and cool, filtered water. The filter in that has been going going strong for many years. Ours clogged up within about 6 months yet the water where we are is soft and very clean. I guess it must be doing some filtering. At $99 replacement they've gotta be dreaming.
Excellent – I would recommend them to anyone, i don’t know of any other company that ring you each year to remind you to change your cartridge I love the product and the staff, it is so good to be able to talk to person and not a machine. It is very hard in this day and age to get proper old fashion customer service. The difference in taste to tap water is… Read more
very noticable. I can not find anything bad about the the product or the staff, Keep up the good work. I do not have any.
Terrible – i wouldnt recommend it to anybody coz it is the same as the main tap, and sales reps are too pushy, yuk the sales people trying to sell, too many phone calls and no i dont want to buy a cartridge coz it's the same as the normal tap water. i am not using it anymore, now r u happy sales people, keep them for urselves
Bad – I too dislike the pushy sales staff, constantly ringing to get you to replace your filter every 12 mths. Is it any good? I cannot say for sure. I don't think it tastes any better than the water from the unfiltered tap next to it..... Seems OK, I guess. I have nothing else to compare it with.
