The filtration system seems to be great. Installation was the issue. The plumbers had to pull up pavers to do the install. I accept they’re plumbers, not pavers, but CHF needs to take responsibility for making good on jobs and get a paver on their books for finishing the job. shovelling into the garden before I stopped him), the pavers are all uneven, and there’s a paver removed for me to deal with.
I’ve now got a future issue with sinking pavers, bricks I’ve got to lift back up, and one or two that I’ll have to cut.
CHF could have spent $200 on a contractor to “make good” here and preserve their reputation, but they’re not that type of company. Buyer beware.

have a leak on the street side of the meter which SA Water has to fix. I complained to the company and asked for some kind of compensation ( a free filter) they have not been in touch with me for two weeks. I feel that once they have your cash, your on your own.
Follow-up · A year down the track. Have noticed the water pressure drops at times, have had to clean the shower head also, I thought it was a calcium build up but CHF assures me it's just "dirt". Great ads, polished sales pitch (on site only), sign on the spot after a convincing demo. Brilliant business model.
The longterm filter cost is the real lock in: The 15inch cartridges are their own standard and you have to purchase at the $350 annual "wholesale" price (You can buy regular 20 inch cartridges for $125 for a set). You will be smsed and emailed non-stop every 12 months, unless you either buy cartridges or call them and ask to stop for a year.
Follow-up · Here is an example of an email to persuade you to buy new filters every 12 months. It's now 1 month overdue, oh my. Not sure how "overusing" the filters for a month could damage the filtering system. But surely turning it off is not the answer, or is it? It's a good example of the pushy approach, polished as it may be.

took the bait and paid the $400 to lock in the lower price (still around $5000). Did more research and decided to back out and forego the deposit. Sent a polite email to their office (after being flooded with constant followup calls every day), asking not to be contacted anymore. However, sales person still relentlessly tried to dig into why we were backing out and offering us “more cost effective options” that were never even hinted at during the initial consult where we were pressured to pay.
If this product is as good as they say they are, quality speaks for itself. Relying on scummy aggressive sales tactics instead raises suspicion about the product and sours the buying experience.

we would “never get this price again.” As someone who works in sales myself, I called him out on it at the time and was assured this was absolutely not a tactic.
Fast forward almost two years later — after my partner still wanted the system, I finally gave in and called to purchase it. Miraculously, the exact same “special one-time price” was still available nearly 24 months later. That alone says everything.
During the sales process, we were also told:
* the system could help improve our daughter’s eczema, * the water would feel noticeably softer, * and various other claims that simply have not proven true.
Unfortunately, none of those promises materialised.
The installation process was another frustrating experience. We were told the unit would “fit easily” in our small front courtyard, but when it arrived it was enormous and looked completely out of place. We simply requested it be moved to the side of the house — no additional plumbing, no extra piping, nothing complicated. We were then told it would cost an extra $400 because it was a double-storey home, despite the unit remaining on the ground floor and the actual work taking approximately one hour.
After further complaints, management “met us in the middle” by contributing $200 toward the additional charge, which still felt unreasonable given the minimal work involved.
As someone who works in real estate and regularly deals with trades, I know what plumbing work typically costs. The constant exaggeration and pressure throughout this process left a very poor impression.
To make matters worse, the company heavily promotes its “Google reviews” and thousands of positive ratings, yet customers currently cannot leave reviews directly on their Google profile. That raises serious concerns about transparency.
In the end:
* our daughter’s eczema did not improve, * the water does not feel noticeably different, * and the entire experience felt built around pressure sales and inflated promises.
I genuinely wish I had researched more thoroughly before purchasing, as I would have explored alternative companies and products instead.

outset, it felt quite transparent. After about an hour, he confirmed the total cost (including installation) at $7,500!!!!. When he saw our reaction, he quickly said he could reduce it to back to their “summer price promotion” of around $6,000, but only if we signed immediately and paid a $400 deposit. We were genuinely surprised by how high the price was. As a rule, I never commit on the spot, so I explained we wouldn’t be paying a deposit and that I’d need 48 hours to consider our options. During that time, we decided to proceed with another local Australian company offering a comparable, high-quality system (made in the USA) for roughly half the price, along with more affordable replacement filters. However, over those 48 hours, the original sales representative called twice and sent multiple text messages, to the point where I ultimately had to block his number. Don't be pressured and take you time to review all options.

bad the water quality is. I was expecting more about water quantity in numbers; all he showed was the magic trick converting water to a pink colour. For me, it was like those TV commercial programs watching in live. He started doing paperwork and offered the complete system for $5990. After I showed less interest, he offered a discount price to $4100. And that's where I fell for his scam trap and paid $400 deposit. After 3 hours, I found that I could get a similar system for about 60% less. I called the company to cancel and request a refund of the amount. And that's where I found that the deposit is not refundable.
Don't be stupid like me and fall into their trap. Do your market research and stay away from these free assessments, instant discount It's such a shame that the government talk about customer rights and still these kinds of companies are scamming

offer me a one-time only "act now" deal of $1700 off the price if I signed then and there. Proceeding to remind me numerous times he is very busy and will only visit once with his triplicate paper work. When I said I will discuss first with my wife he circled the dearer price and said "well I'm going to have to leave you here at this price" If I wanted the better price I will need to fill out the paperwork for him to take away and then call him swiftly the next day to confirm or I don't get the pricing.
I worked out after the sales guy had left the reason for the call centres run sheet instructions to triple check if both myself and my wife would be present. They want to pressure both at the same time so there's no going away to think about it. Honestly if your product is as great as you say, let the technology and customer reviews do the talking. You don't need to be aggressive and pushy by making potential customers feel pressured to act in the moment for a 6000 investment. This sense of urgency is the same method used in email scams. No way am I getting involved with this company.

pink-colored water testing, which is completely false. After contacting South East Water, they confirmed that they add chlorine to kill harmful bacteria in the water and that it is safe to drink. In my case, after listening to his demonstration, I was shocked that we were drinking water full of chemicals. Without my consent, he started filling out all the paperwork and agreements. I stopped him and asked for a few days to think. He then started again, saying I was playing with my family's health and leading them to the hospital. He pressured me and got that contract signed at 7:00 PM without my understanding its contents. In the morning, I messaged him again that I was unhappy with this and wanted my $400 refund. He told me to contact his company, not him. The company totally rejected this because they said this amount was not refundable. The 1-hour consultation cost $400, which they said was totally free. relocate if I had to move, and that relocation would be affordable — around $200, especially if the new location wasn’t far away. They made it seem like they had their own plumbers and would manage the process for me. That reassurance played a huge role in my decision to sign up.
Now, the time has come for me to move, literally just 10 minutes away and suddenly the support has disappeared. I contacted them expecting help with the move, but was told that the plumber used for my installation was just a contractor and that I now need to source and manage plumbers myself. The quotes I’m getting are between $500–$600. When I expressed my surprise, the reply I received was:
“Keep in mind any licensed plumber can do the move… you can source some other quotes… but we have no direct control over what the contractors quote.”
This completely contradicts what I was told before I signed up.
I now feel misled and frustrated. While the filtration system itself works well, the aftercare and customer support are extremely poor. It seems they say what they need to say to get you to sign up, but once the installation is done, you’re left to figure everything out on your own.
