Thank you Mark Hall. Mark installed our EvoHeat Force 14 pool heater 6 years ago and it has performed excellently until yesterday, just 6 days before Christmas. I rang Mark and he remembered installing our heater and came out today and replaced the controller and it is all working perfectly again. Mark's pride in the EvoHeat product and his attention to service was professional and outstanding. Show details · 1
I purchased one of the fusion i12 pool heaters in 2023. In under 2 years the touch screen stopped working. This was under warranty but they would not carry out the labour to install unless I paid $330 install fee. I find it outrageous that a company can provide faulty equipment but then charge you to fix it. What a poor business model. I will be taking it further to get this reimbursed.
I bought my Evo heat 270 in 2021 (4 years). The unit stopped heating water via the heat pump and now only heats the water via the internal booster. Now takes approx 6 hours of electric to heat the water. The pump itself is still running but not producing cold air out of the fan exhaust area. I've been told that it has had a coolant leak and could… Read more
be anywhere and not accessible. After contacting Evo heat via email, the first comment reply I got was that as my unit was pre 2023 and that I only had a 2 year warranty. So I queried that, as to why ones after 2023 had 5 years warranty, I was told, because the competition companies offered 5 years, so they had to follow suit. I was then offered to send a technician out to source the problem. The cost to me would be $300 plus GST on the first hour for labour and a further $145 for every hour there after. So as I can see this costing more than its worth, I have no choice but to run the unit as a general expensive electric water heater (via the booster only) until I can afford another decent brand with a decent warranty. Thanks for nothing Evo heat! Update! After several weeks of being advised that a manager would contact me to try and resolve my issue, to date, approximately 2 months later nobody from Evo heat has bothered to contact me! So I must assume I've been abandoned and put into the to hard basket. So unfortunately I will now have to spend several more thousands of dollars on a new heat pump. It certainly won't be from Evo heat!!!!

Sustainable and Value - Our Evoheat 270-1 Heat Pump Experience! – We’ve just had the Evoheat 270-1 heat pump based water heating system installed. The technician, John was efficient, quick, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the process and completing everything in one day. Installed price is a bit cheaper than other top brands. Value considering track record reliability and after sales service efficiency. So… Read more
far, everything seems good! Ensure to time the unit to turn on when the sun is up. The insulation holds the heated water for a while. Sustainable energy approach. The unit’s fan can be a bit noisy when it’s running. It can be synced with our solar panel timing to help offset energy use, even though it operates independently. Overall, it seems energy efficient.
This is excellent! – Installed an EvoHeat 270 heat pump. We are a family of four and already enjoying instant and consistent hot water (replaced a continuous gas system). This was the last gas replacement, as we recently installed an induction cooktop and electric oven. EvoHeat was a clear winner for this job due to their Australian based fabrication /assembly,… Read more
impressive warranties and approved installation contractors, which together gave us great confidence in the years ahead of continuing efficiency and reduced costs of our hot water system .
Good so far – We had the Evo270-1 installed at the end of March 2023. The unit has worked well so far. It provides more than enough hot water for a 3 person household. Even though the unit is located near a bedroom, we do not hear the unit running. We're in Melbourne and during the winter, we've had to leave the unit on so that it'll the keep the water heated… Read more
to the desired temperature. During the summer, we'll make use of the inbuilt timer so that it only turns on during the hottest part of the day which should increase its efficiency. Installed by Jeztek Plumbing.
Excellent product and customer service – Since installation, the product has been operating perfectly. The customer service provided by EvoHeat was excellent. I would have no hesitation in referring them to others requiring a heat pump hot water service.
This is the perfect heating solution – We decided to replace our old hot water heater with the EVO150-1 Heat Pump hot water system which was promptly installed by the Speedy Hot Water team. John and Adam were very professional and answered all my queries. They explained in detail the operation and the setup process. I am very happy with this new acquisition and I am pretty confident that it will save heaps on the next power bills. Show details

I reported my faulty dehumidifier to EvoHeat on 8 May 2024. A technician inspected it and confirmed several parts needed replacement. I paid $598 for those parts on 23 May 2024—and then I waited. And waited. And waited. (Why doesn’t EvoHeat keep spare parts in Australia?) The wrong parts were sent. More parts were ordered. When they arrived,… Read more
the dehumidifier still didn’t work.
In October 2024, EvoHeat actually asked me to pay the $598 again, even sending me an overdue notice for money I’d already paid.
Still more parts were ordered.
The technician tried again but couldn’t fix it and told me head office would be in touch. Nobody called. By this point, I’d been without a dehumidifier for eight months.
Eventually, EvoHeat offered me a replacement unit at a “discounted” price. But unbelievably, in June 2025, EvoHeat tried for a third time to get me to pay another $598.
It took EvoHeat around 12 months to address the fault with my pool dehumidifier— and even then, they repeatedly tried to charge me for the same parts I had already paid for.
I challenge you to find another company that takes longer to fix a problem—or works harder to bill a customer multiple times for the same thing!

EVO Heat Force I17 – We put down a slab for our unit and plan to have simple roofing and open lattice sides to our pool pump area to provide protection while allowing good ventilation. The new power circuit to the pool pump area is a bit of an eyesore as we did not dig the deep trench required. We plan to paint the conduit and grow plants to hide it. We took a couple… Read more
more circuits down there at the same time for garden, pool light and roller potential future plans. The noise is not a problem. The fans blows quite hard on the garden plants with the smaller ones suffering. The app was easy to install once I found the confirmation emails in the junk box. Being obsessed with my electricity costs I find running the unit at night bothersome so I am planning to run it during daylight hours from excess solar and switch my swim time to near sunset. I may well give up on winter swimming as the ambient weather is unpleasant particularly when getting out. The unit will make autumn and spring more enjoyable. 28 degrees seem just tolerable so I am trying 30 degrees. Overall I am impressed with unit and neighbours with young kids have enjoyed theirs throughout the recent autumn.
Evo Force i17 pool heat pump that heats way better than expected! – Last August during lockdown we decided we needed to get out of the house more so investigated pool heat pumps. We found a local company (HotH2O in Penrith NSW) who recommending the Evoheat Evo Force i17 after we did an online calculation tool for our particular pool. We had considered a few other options but the EvoHeat pump had a compelling plus… Read more
of having a very good COP.
I'd also seen on online forums owners happy with their EvoHeat heat pumps for durability, efficiency and quietness.
Once it was installed I was initially a little disappointed as I had (incorrectly) expected the pool to heat to 33 degrees Celcius within a day (we installed in August!) Day by day the temperature was rising and so by September we had attained high 20s (Celcius).
We found having a pool blanket helped retain the heat we had built each day (due to stopping a lot of the loss overnight) in the cold winter evenings.
Now in Summer, we are flipping the system to actually cool our pool as we got up to 38 degrees one day! We could have thrown in vegetables to cook for dinner...
For our power, we had a PV system installed on our roof to provide solar for our house (and heat pump) and due to the efficiency of the unit, there was way less electricity draw on our system than I had anticipated.
It is quiet too - our pool pump is louder.
I'd recommend going the slightly size larger than your needs for your pool so the heater runs well and if you have a PV system you are all set.
I've already recommended our unit to other friends and family who were impressed by swimming in our pool for the past 6 months.

Installed an Evo I-force pro 28-3 heat pump for my new pool. I’m the envy of all my mates having the ability to use my pool year round. **⭐ Extremely Disappointed – Poor Support & Costly Troubleshooting** I’ve spent **months** trying to get the WiFi working on my **EvoHeat** unit, and it’s been nothing but a nightmare. Despite spending **hundreds of dollars** already, they now want me to throw even more money at the issue—without even knowing what’s wrong. Their latest… Read more
suggestion? **Get an electrician involved and pay for more parts** because they’re trying to blame my WiFi, even though it’s brand new and every other device in my home works perfectly. The real problem? **I can’t even access the EvoHeat WiFi settings!**
To make matters worse, it took **months** just to get a response from their support team, which has been nothing but unhelpful. If you’re considering EvoHeat, **beware of the terrible customer service** and unexpected costs that come with trying to fix their faulty system. I regret my purchase and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
We will be going to the ACCC to get their advice as this unit is under 4 years old and we had spent thousands to buy and install it. Very very very disappointed.
Checking other reviews on here now I wish I had checked earlier!
Horrible service and product – Worst company and worst heat pump. STAY AWAY!! My force 24 has had nothing but issues from day one and I have called 3 times now only to be told someone will call me back and shock horror never one call. Technical none help – Contacted their customer service in Brisbane with an e03 error on my pool heater they advised the problem was low water flow and asked what my pump was like. The e03 error was the same.… Read more
I contacted evo heat again and they then said I would need a service call to diagnose the problem but it was likely a flow switch as the replacement pump had not worked. I asked if the service call person could bring a switch in case it was the problem. I was told no and that I would have to buy the switch separately. Cost of the switch $35 plus $30 freight plus gst. Asked if switch could be posted as only a small item. I was told they do not use post only couriers. They did give me a name of a possible service agent who I then contacted, they do not carry any spare parts but could send a person to diagnose the problem as it may or may not be the switch. Cost about $300-$350. Then similar cost if it was the switch to fit it once I purchased it. Having already spent over $500 on advice from evo heat I was not prepared to spend close to another $800 on a it may fix the problem. Technical advice from evo heat should have a minus 5 star. Think before you consider their products.

So far i have asked a few questions from Evo Heat and they have been extremely reaponsive and very helpful. Thumbs up from me.
Low-Quality Product and Service – A unit costing me $3,000-ish plus installation cost is already out of warranty within 3,5 years. I estimate a replacement cost, including labour, around $600. Adding insult to injury, the technician returned to me after leaving, informing me that the installed replacement board was a second-hand board and that he would need to come back to install… Read more
a new one. I then spent almost half an hour on the phone with EVO CS, arguing how it is unprofessional to install a second-hand board without permission and planning to charge me labour costs to install a new one at a later time. I cannot accept the EVO CS' explanation that the technician only sometimes has a new board ready when coming, even though knowing that most likely the fault would be on the board, based on my initial faulty report to EVO. EVO unfairly put the cost of this unprofessional conduct on a customer like me. This will be my first and last purchase of EVO products.

https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/evoheat-advanced-dhp-r-pool-heat-pump Evoheat have now sent three different parts via their service network across three different service visits across July and August to date. Neither of them with any success, but worse still each part arrives without any service notes, advice or instruction to their service / repair agent. After their 3rd visit today, the tech left disappointed at Evoheats lack of support and the problem remains unresolved and the heat pump not working now since June. Needless to say, I do not recommend Evoheat to anyone looking to add a heat pump option for their pool heating.
