Terrible product, don’t waste your money – Purchased a house with brand new renovated kitchen. Didn’t realise it was eco stone until 3 weeks later when I notice all these fine scratches over the benches. A terrible product so disappointing. A waste of a renovation. Now I have to source an alternative as it looks terrible and will only get worse.

Poor quality - Not durable - Dont buy – Same as all the other poor reviews - i was recommended a new product trying to break into the WA market for my kitchen renovation - Evostone kitchen benchtops - Went with Everest based solely on the website color description and display installation photos without checking reviews from customers. The final color product is not close at all to… Read more

website pictures. The product chips and scratches EXTREMELY easily...it is not robust nor suitable for constant daily use in kitchens, even when every precaution is made...1 month after installation many scratches later a plastic chopping board made one of the scratches...About to contact supplier to make official complaint but given what other people have written here, i have little hope of an acceptable solution. Pics attached to show scratches and color difference

Bathroom & Kitchen renovation – We recently used Evostone benchtop to renovate our bathroom and are very happy with the product. It is easy to look after and the colour matches perfectly. We are now thinking of it for our kitchen Reno. Would definitely recommend!

Ignore the other reviews! – We have recently completed a full house renovation and came across Evostone when looking for silica free stone alternatives(thanks 60minutes) It ticked all the boxes and looks incredible. Like every product it shows wear and tear but we have lived normally and not babied the benches and they still look fresh (even with three teenagers in the house ). 100% would recommend Show details

Not suitable for 'everyday kitchen activities' – Installed this product in late Dec 2022. Very excited about my new benchtop and cleaned it everyday, as per the manufacturers instructions. The surface scratches so easily with a few weeks of use. We installed the 'concrete' (grey) benchtop and any scratches appear white and extremely noticeable. I had to glue felt to the bottom of tin coffee,… Read more

tea, sugar canisters to prevent scratches. The scratches may not be as visible on a white/cream benchtop though, but very noticeableon the darker colour. My installer contact the supplier and they provided instructions on repairs. He followed the instructions to the letter and now it looks worse, dull and just awful. The manufacturer states that the damage is due to scratches from a ceramic product and will provide no assistance. We are now battling with the supplier. I would not recommend this product as its not suitable for 'everyday normal kitchen use'.

Worst ever bench top – Purchased a house with this horrible benchtop and after only 18 months we have thrown it out and installed a butcher block benchtop. The Evostone was so scratched and dulled that it was depressing just to look at it. We always used a tablecloth and were ultra careful but to no avail. Definitely not fit for use at all.

Terrible product – We got this product with our new build This is cheap and nasty Never would have thought that the bench would scratch like it has After 8 mths I can’t stand looking at this It’s been covered fo four mths to help but made no difference If Milford Home had and morals, they would discontinue using this product in their new builds We are still trying to get an actual crack in the bench fixed by builder/ installer So mad!!!!!!!

Waste of money – Very easy to get scratched and fades too in spite of great care and a single person household. I find that by using a sheeny product like Glass guard, it makes for a more uniform colour and helps to conceal scratches. I certainly cannot find anything positive to say about Evo stone and would not recommend it to anyone.

Very poor quality – Looked good when installed but after just a couple of weeks there were noticeable scratches appearing. Had it for about one year now and looks about 20 years old completely covered in scratches. I would say this isn’t fit for purpose

Fine scratches on surface – We had this installed on our new kitchen benches in 2020. For a few weeks it looked great, just like a stone bench. Then the surface started developing light scratches everywhere. This was despite the fact it was used only moderately and always carefully. Now it already looks like a crummy, slightly damaged acrylic imitation of stone, after one… Read more

years use. This is so disappointing. I've tried cleaning it as per the manufacturers recommendations to remove the light scratches but it doesn't work, only makes the surface duller.

Scratches when you look at it – We purchased this product as an alternative to Quartz and Laminex. Sadly, we immediately noticed it start to scratch. After 1 month of extremely careful and light use it had hundred of scratches. We tested with a blunt object and some children's books and these scratch it. As we clearly we're not satisfied we asked the manufacturer for a… Read more

replacement or refund as it isn't for for purpose and isn't durable as advert. We were told it's not faulty, which wasn't what we claimed. They after 6 months sent someone to 'buff it' and it looks just as bad.

Hopefully, we will eventually get a refund or replacement, but regardless don't waste your time and money on this product.
