Can someone give me the contact number or email of the manufacturer Excelair so that I may fetch a circuit board or diagram or is there any other outlet.
In cooling mode, Does this unit require the user to drain the condensate from a tank; or does it avoid this, by (1) passing the condensate over the hot coils to evaporate the condensate (i.e. a self-evaporative unit); or (2) spraying the condensate as a mist out of the exhaust pipe (a MIST design)?
No idea mate. I wouldnt buy another one of this model as neither of them are reliable enough. 1st one was sent back & second one broke down after only 6mths use.
Is this unit self-evaporative? Or use MIST design (another term for the same thing)?
This unit is not evaporative or mist. It is a portable air conditioner. You need to vent it out a window or door to exhaust the hot air.
You have not understood my question. Does this unit require the user to drain the condensate from a tank in cooling mode; or does it avoid this, by (1) passing the condensate over the hot coils to evaporate the condensate (i.e. a self-evaporative unit); or (2) spraying the condensate as a mist out of the exhaust pipe (a MIST design)?
I think the 16a is noisy and no the styrofoam looks like it belongs there I fill my water tank from the side door you can see the level it takes about 2.2 litres and I dont know where they get there reviews from but it only cools its not cold would not buy another
Just brought this unit but cannot figure out how the exhaust hose attaches to the unit? It does not seem to fit and keeps popping back out? The instruction manual is of no help..
It's ok, I worked it out. You need to screw it in by turning the exhaust pipe.
