Their products are absolute rubbish! I purchased x2 steering tie rods for our MAZDA 6 GH from their ebay site, they lasted just over 1 year and then the rubber boots disintegrated. The OEM parts lasted over 200,000 kilometres with the rubber boots still 100%, these lasted about 25,000, just over 12 months.... complete junk!
Sent me a toe adjustment bolt that had a clearly visible damaged thread
FeBest? No FeWORST! – Brake caliper overhaul kit lasted less than six months. OEM lasts well beyond 10 years. The rubber just melted to a black goo. Absolutely worthless brand.
Poor quality failed. pay for x2 freight cost for refund – Universal stretch rack boot listed for my car. Poor quality rubber. Cleaned ball joint and lubed boot and joint as required. Boot rubber was hard and split. Seller advised to return parts in original packaging for refund less their freight cost. This makes it not viable having to pay for 2 lots of freight and having partial refund on original purchase I bought 2 new boots elsewhere.
Will never buy Febest again. Driveshaft coupling shattered in 12000km – Replaced driveshaft coupling on my VW Tiguan With Febest VWDS-TIGF in January 2023. It failed catastrophically in November 2023 after doing only 12000km. These parts usually fail gradually by cracking, and usually last over 10 times longer. This one broke up and it's evident that the quality of rubber is very poor. I'll never buy Febest again.
T31 Nissan Xtrail Cv Joint Boots – I bought inner and outer front cv joint boots for my T31 Nissan Xtrail and they were delivered quickly. The boots fit perfectly and have been on there for years now. Needing them urgently prior to an offroad trip, after noticing they were split, every auto parts store kept giving me the wrong size boots, where as febest ebay sent out the correct… Read more
parts first time and got me back on the road quickly. I've been off road many times and the cv boots are still good as new. I also bought spring seat rubbers that are still in good condition, and universal joints for the tailshaft that no-one else could supply. I would definitely recommend febest.
Fewest is Utter garbage BE AWARE! – Febest parts are a joke, I got an inner cv joint which stated it’ll fit my Honda, only to find that the groove where the c clip sits/installs wasn’t cut/machined at the factory, not only that but the shaft diameter for the driveshaft was wrong meaning it was never going to be practical in any way. DONT BUY THEIR CRAP THEYRE A JOKE
Tie rod ends – Tie rod ends do not fit my car , they advertised that they do. Don't even reply to my emails
Terrible quality and short lived life – Terrible quality. Less than 12 months on the vehicle and the brake piston boots are perished and disintegrating. No matter the cost, it's not cheap enough. Wouldn't fit febest again if the parts were free.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR EBAY STORE! – Firstly I would give them minus stars if I could. DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR EBAY STORE! As they supply the wrong part then blame you for not checking the VIN... I originally brought a Front Brake Caliper Repair Kit For Chrysler 300C (2004-2010) ( https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/184318012266 ) Found out it doesn't fit my vehicle even though their title… Read more
and description said it would. Contacted their so called "Support" only to be told that it was my fault because I didn't check the VIN.
I was then told to send it back at my expense in the original condition (NOT possible as I have taken the parts out of the pack used the grease and greased the boots while trying to fit them).
Full knowing that I'm not getting anywhere with this Ebay seller, I went on the search for the part that does fit my vehicle and came across the same seller selling the part the seems to fit. They are selling the correct part under the exactly same title as the part that doesn't fit... (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173951309172)
Their Ebay store feedback says it all, 30 plus Negative reviews of people complaining about parts not matching their vehicle even though the title and description said it would.
Their response is even copy and pasted. I have reported this seller to eBay and will not stop until they are held accountable for ripping people off!
Good & bad – First Febest parts I bought were suspension bushings which seem good though other bits not so like a timing belt idler pulley that had a lot of play in the bearing, a clutch master cylinder that leaks fluid -2 of them- which is a shame since its a different design to OEM and is better with a swivelling reservoir. It's probably all Chinese crap… Read more
passed off as German , unlike the other brand Febi- Bilstein which are more likely German made parts. I wonder if they are related?
Brake seals lasted 5 months – Decided to try these "German quality" parts by buying a full brake caliper seal kit. Fitting went ok however after 5 months of rather mundane driving I pulled the caliper off for an unrelated issue and found that ALL the dustboots had cracked, split and perished. This did not inspire confidence to continue driving the car so I had to park it up… Read more
losing me revenue. These seals saved me about $150 from buying genuine however I regret the choice. I would advise no one buy these brake seals. I'm very disappointed.
Febest parts fit well but don't last 1/10 the distance that genuine parts do – I have used Febest parts on a number of cars. I replaced the original lower ball joints on our Toyota Prius (10 years old) and the rubber boots on the Febest parts split around 12 months later. The front wheel bearings were also replaced with Febest parts and these are still working ok approx 25,000kms later. I also replaced the upper and lower… Read more
control arm bushes on my LandCruiser (originals lasted over 600,000kms). The Febest replacement parts didn't even last 10,000kms and have completely failed. The bearings appear to be ok but anything made of rubber isn't up to the task.
Supplied faulty parts but won't accept any liability - avoid this seller – I recently purchased a car steering column joint reconditioning kit from this seller through ebay. All the wording on their advertisement suggests that they are a quality after market car parts supplier with German kind of quality. I took it to my mechanic to get it fitted. The mechanic spent nearly an hour removing the steering column and… Read more
column shaft and took the part out to fit only to find out that straight out of the box, some of the plastic parts has already cracked in multiple places so he has to put everything on hold and ordering a new part from someone else. I was very disappointed with the inferior part and asked for a refund through ebay. The seller offer me a discount to keep it but I refused so they accepted a return. Ebay contacted me to let me know that the seller can't provide a returned pre-paid envelope so I will need to pay for it first and the seller will reimburse the postage cost. I included a receipt for postage with the returned product. Upon receiving the parcel, the seller ignore the postage cost receipt and provide a refund less 10%. I have lodged a complaint with ebay but I believe I was charged a 10% re-stocking fee. I find this behaviour quite unreasonable given the seller has supplied faulty goods and goods that is not up to the quality advertised and yet, they penalized me instead. I think in the end, ebay will make them provide a full refund plus reimburse the postage cost but as a consumer, I thought I should let other consumers know that this type of behaviour shows the seller is not as reputable as they projected themselves to be and there is great doubt to the quality of their products. The part supplied to me should not have been sold. It was either has not gone through quality check as a once off item or there could be a general quality issue.
