Okay for the price – We bought two of these seats from Reece Plumbing to replace the original soft close seats in our apartment. The shape is square/round as per the image. re-tighten the installation screws twice and the seat has to be removed for that purpose.

On the bright side, the seats are otherwise sturdy and comfortable, and fit our toilets perfectly. We paid $80.00 each, which was okay.
