Check my relies!! This dryer is tricky- leave the clothing in with the door closed- it senses the load, drying times ect- patience is the only way with this dryer and you can see why it has been discontinued!! It will work though- the extra sensory is for fire reduction hazards!
I changed the door on my dryer but key light is flashing and dryer will not start , this has only happened since I changed the door. Troy
This dryer drives me nuts. I've found the few times that I will use it- leave it sitting in the barrel for minimum six minutes so it can 'sense' all of the clothes individual drying requirements- and then press start- hope this helps? It's so sensitive - just looking at it seems to scare it. I was given mine by my sister and I can understand why! They are a discontinued model for a reason!
Even leave it sitting in the barrel for up to ten minutes before pressing start- I think the longer it's left to sense, the better the chances of it actually drying- Ive been surprised a few times- but look at it in disgust most times!
We recently bought a second hand Aerosense 5kg Dryer Model DE50F56E1 - BUT - the control panel is upside down (we only noticed this when we got it home) The online info shows that you have the ability to invert a control panel on the newer models ... but if we invert this panel the clips to clip it onto the face of the dryer do not align. Is there any way we can invert the control panel as operating it with all the botton details being upside down is difficult.
My Aerosence 5kg won’t spin the drum when loaded. Hardly spins empty once it gets going seems fine ? It’s just getting it running to begin with. I saw someone else had the same problem but didn’t see any answers given to what’s wrong
Yes my review! It is so sensitive for safety reasons I think but frustrating! I tend to keep light loads only- let the clothes sit for around 2-4 mins so it can sense then start- but then it spins once or twice and stops again- it's too sensitive!! I've completely given up at times. Other times you put in a partial dry light load and it starts no problem! They stopped making this model- for good reason!!!
Yeah mines gotten progressively worse to the point it’s not useable. I thinking maybe it’s the capacitor ?(I think that’s what it is a cylindrical white component a little bigger than a D size battery that’s wired into the motor, I would imagine to give the motor extra current on starting as the motor checks out ok with the multi meter. I am no sparky but. Thanks for your reply
Try replacing the capacitor....I did and it's back to normal

You would save money buying a new dryer The new ones are the best I wouldn’t buy fisher and pykel
My dryer will only work with a very light load it helps if I help it to start spinning by hand but very frustrating once it's going its great. Has anyone had this problem that they have fixed I was thinking of ordering a new starter copasitor and replacing it but not sure if that's the problem or if it could be something else. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you julia
I changed the door to the dryer f.Pykel model de50f56e1. Power works ok but cannot start. The "Key" icon below pause/start is flashing. Can you help get stated again? Bruce
Hi all of the lights are flashing but I can get it to work for an hour or so, then they come on again and no buttons work. I didn't have this issue until I moved recently.....is a sensor out of whack??

all lights come on press start nothing then makes a bussing noise not working is their a reset switch on this machine regards BARRY
