How do I reset a fisher and paykel quicksmart washing machine model mw513 please
Hi I have Fisher & Paykel QuickSmart MW512 (5.5kg) from at least 10 years. No Problem until now. Now just stopped working, can't press any buttons. Indicator lights are green on 3rd and 4th position from left on long wash and red indicator light on spin position, also making beeping sound constantly. If I press start button red indicator light on lid locked position (no lights on any other position)but machine is not doing any things. Any help ? what is the problem ? maybe ? mother board? is repairable?

my machine lets in hot water but no cold so when I press warm it only does hot
Machine beeps every second when turned on and non of the trouble spotting methods are helping. Any other suggestions would be appreciated thanks. Don’t want to spend any more money on it.

Well My Problem is,the Water,Draining Pump,,Is Not Pumping Water Out,Going through its Cycle,So I've Pulled It Out,Totally Clean it,Now Putting it back in,,Then we will See if that's done Anything, If Not I gather that the Water Pump is Stuffed,,That's my dilemma
I had a similar situation where the pump sounded like it was trying to pump the water out and nothing was happening. My fix was to blow as hard as l could into the drain pipe and that seemed to fix it. Might be a totally different issue for you though. Good luck with it.
If it's not pumping at all, then your pump may be stuffed. If it's pumping intermittently, the machine might need a clean because bits of crud can confuse the sensors, even if the pump itself is not blocked. Mine was intermittently not pumping out all the water from the spray rinse, creating froth from the slow spin (although it pumped the water out OK during the rest of the cycle). A repairer (Eddie Shiraz in Adelaide - great bloke) advised me to give the machine a clean, which solved the problem. Eddie suggested doing the following clean three or four times a year. Long, hot (not warm) wash (full cycle, including cold rinse) with the magic ingredient in the ratio of 1 scoop of bicarb soda : 100 mls vinegar, as strong as you like (I did 5 scoops + 500 mls of vinegar). I let it stand and soak for half an hour after the long wash, and then repeated the long wash (before it cooled down). Solved my problem.

That’s sounds like an error code. put it in google in this format 1 being on and 0 being off for example if the first and third wash light where on the first rinse light and the spin light are on, on the wash progress bar you would write 10100101. I have noticed that when I start the wash it stops on rinse. I turn it off and turn it on and set it on rinse, it finishes the rinse and stops at spin so I turn it off again and turn it on again and set it on spin it takes a few minutes to start the spin and it finishes the wash and turns off. Why is it doing that please?

Im assuming you have selected one of the automatic cycles. Firstly try using a different cycle and see what happens. Could be a main circuit board issue or could be the drain pump. Check to see if the washer is draining. This will give you a clue. The drain pump should be easy to replace but circuit board would be uneconomical. The problem is you wont know until you replace the drain pump or until you get a washing machine repairman out there to diagnose the problem. Try to pick one that gives free quotes.

How do I remove the agitator
So easy. Pop the lid off the top of the agitator. If you look inside the agitator, right down the bottom there is a handle. You may need to clear the inside of the agitator to see it. Turn this handle anti-clockwise until it comes out. Then just lift the agitator out. You will find it probably needs a good clean around the bottom so do this periodically.
