Absolute lemon of a dryer. Have had to arrange for Fisher & Paykel to come out 3 times in the space of 15months for a "door alarm". opposed to 1 star). But the fault with the actual dryer keeps recurring. There is clearly some underlying problem with our dryer, and they cannot seem to fix it permanently. I have plenty of other Fisher Paykel appliances (Fridge, Dishwaher, Washing Machine) that are fine - but would certainly never buy a Fisher & Paykel dryer again.
Absolutely rubbish.Can’t believe they made such a rubbish dryer.We have always bought F&P for years.This particular product rolls everything into a ball no matter what size load you put in so you have to take everything out every couple of minutes as it all twists together and doesn’t dry.The drying time is also 3 times as long as the other F & P… Read more

Fisher & Paykel manufactured by Haier - won't be buying this brand ever again. Not only did I pay more, but they sent (and informed me by doing so) the Haier guarantee and guide. Worse again, Appliances Online suggested just go to them and they are unresponsive. Never again, as I see your brand as worthless.

Fisher Paykel dryer caused major damage to clothes – FP manufactured this faulty dryer which left PERMANENT black marks on clothes and linen, causing over $3000 worth of damage. responsibility, and they totally ignore in the hopes that as an aggrieved customer I’ll just go away. Do not purchase this product or anything else from FP unless you want to deal with a dishonest and irresponsible company.
Manufacturing grease fault left clothes marked permanently – Do not buy this dryer or any Fisher Paykel dryer - faulty manufacturing and the dryer left permanent damage in the form permanent black greasy marks on almost all items that were placed in it. called multiple times and completely ignored. Beyond disgusting especially for such a huge company. Do not buy from this company otherwise any issues have will be treated appallingly. To top it all off, their technician damaged our laundry roof when trying to remove the faulty dryer. They didn’t get the faulty dryer out because they didn’t know how to and just left the replacement dryer there for me to deal with.
Seemed ok, only light use, lasted 6 year / less than 300 cycles – Usually used for drying towels on when weather is bad, but we have a fairly big laundry with space inside and run it on average only a couple of times a month in summer / once a week in winter, estimate only 50 loads / runs a year. between the drum and inside of door. No error codes or faults, just this issue - so one assumes with the 2 year warranty it will be "thrown away" . Might give repair a try but have heard scare stories on the wasted $$. Expected it to last longer to be honest.
