Fisher & Paykel Series 7 Front Loader Washing Machine 10Kg - Graphite. Beautiful looking machine. However, this has been the single most disappointing purchase of my life! And I'm over 60 so that's a lot of comparisons! An absolutely HORRIBLE machine. Talked up and talked into by the sales staff in 2 separate Good Guys outlets. I paid over a $1,000 and it has NO USER CONTROL over essential functions like water temperature or spin speed. Some functions can only be selected via a phone app. And NO Menu item for SILK! What? Even the cheap machine I had before had a Silk option! Menus on the machine itself are extremely limited and a pain in the proverbial to navigate and some options need the phone app to select them! I don't want to HAVE to use a phone app to operate my washing machine! And if I have a guest or house sitter, do they need to download the app too? THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE HEIGHT OF RIDICULOUSNESS!

And today, after only 2 weeks and only done 3 loads of washing and already it has a FILTER BLOCKED Check and clean pump filters. I let the little hose down and it drained several litres of water and yet there was more. Got a tray and placed it under the outlet (difficult because you can't get it right under because then it impedes the drain door from sitting down) - and then water gushed everywhere and flooded my garage reaching a cupboard made of chip board and several cardboard boxes I had stored.

I was so looking forward to owning and using this machine and believed I had purchased an exceptional quality front load washing machine (with intentions to get the matching heat pump dryer in a couple of months). I've had a cheap front load washing machine from Kogan in the past and even it had better functionality than this piece of extremely expensive junk!

[And on The Good Guys website, they only publish reviews from people they've either very selectively chosen, or made up. Have used them previously for a major item purchase - never again!
