pause function seems to work pretty well for adding that missing sock etc, although there is a point during the cycle when the door won't unlock anymore. Auto Dose feature is awesome and it's good that it does still have the manual slot too. The drum clean reminder is good, doesn't happen too often which is great but I probably only do about 1-3 loads of washing a week. I'm happy with the cleanliness of the clothes, most of the time use the regular 60min wash and generally cold but sometimes warm and I do tend to opt for a hot wash for dog bedding etc. Something I probably take for granted is that it's pretty quiet, even the spin cycle isn't hugely noisy. Maybe too quiet as don't always hear when it's finished!

I haven't tired: I haven't really used the timer Haven't needed to try the wifi funcion / app which may have extra programs and stuff I did try the steam refresh function but I'm not sure I see the point of it, I either need to wash something or not.

Not a fan: I have a really big fluffy bulky comforter which always seems to unbalance the machine, I haven't really figured out a way to resume the wash / spin once something is unbalanced except for just restarting on the spin cycle. Thankfully it doesn't have a tendency to unbalance for most normal washes. I'm not 100% sure but in recent times on a few occasions I've thought the auto dose might have been using more detergent than usual, probably just means it's time to give the dispenser and filter etc a good clean.

We actually purchased one of these machines for our Son as well and as far as I know he hasn't had any issues. Can't remember what it cost because it's been a fair while since purchase. It weighs a lot more than a top loader so it wasn't fun getting it up several flights of stairs to his rental apartment!

But definitely I'm happy with this machine, it's easy to use and it does the job.

This washing machine is incredibly quiet when in use. The colour is beautiful & the cycles are easy to use. A feature that comes in handy is the laundry liquid/powder dispense drawer, there is an option to fill one of the compartments for multiple washes ie no need to fill the drawer for every load. large australian distributor/installer didnt mention that product should be placed flat on the ground (ie NO CABINETRY). BE WARY.

I am extremely disappointed with my Fisher & Paykel front loader washing machine. While it washes well, the overall quality and after-sales service are completely unacceptable. rust and corrosion. The warranty company (they have been great) repaired the leak but left me with the damage — which Fisher & Paykel dismiss as merely a cosmetic issue. Rust is not cosmetic. Once it starts, it spreads, and it’s only a matter of time before it affects the machine’s integrity.

For a supposedly premium brand, this is appalling. The customer service is unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in standing behind their products. Fisher & Paykel’s attitude toward their customers and the quality of their machines is unacceptable.

A washing machine should last far longer than three years without rust, and consumer protection laws absolutely need to extend beyond this. Fisher & Paykel’s lack of accountability and care for their customers is disgraceful.

I will never purchase another Fisher & Paykel appliance again and would strongly caution others to think twice before doing so.
