Won’t recharge – Worked ok for @12 months, then will not recharge.Same for 2 other people I know with same product bought at the same time

Not Cheap just nasty – The Flosser’s are lucky to complete the warranty period and if you are lucky enough to have it replaced the replacement isn’t covered by warranty. Do yourself a favour and purchase another brand of flosser.

Only lasted 14 months ! – Purchased Flossmates AquaFlow flosser December 2021 the first one I received had leaking water tank so they sent me replacement unit which was fine. February 2023 just 14 months later flosser ceased working I asked Flossmates if there was a reset function or similiar and was advised there was no option. I have since pulled the flosser apart and found water had entered the motor which is bad considering the unit has never been used in the shower or submerged in water which on there advertising images shows this is acceptable.

Purchased in at Flossmates for $80.

Unit unusable after 7 months and Floss Mates would not replace – I bought the AquaFlow water flosser from Floss Mate's website in mid-July 2021. The flosser worked well, until it stopped working less than 7 months later when the battery died and cannot be charged from mains power. I raised a warranty claim to Floss Mates, expecting Floss Mates to replace the unit. The initial response that I received was good. They asked for a video of the faulty unit which I sent, and they replied saying:

"...Thank you so much for providing us with a video. I have contacted the tech team. We are sincerely sorry this is not how we want our customers to be experienced. I will, of course, send you a replacement for free of charge, do you want it delivered to the same address? You're a highly valued customer, and I'm looking forward to your response. If you have any further questions or concerns, I will do my best to answer your query as soon as possible.".

I expressed my great appreciation to the above reply, but things changed colour very quickly when they sent me a new email 3 days later saying:

"...I'm sorry, the warranty doesn't cover the battery since it's been used for about 9 months already. I will give you a 40% discount to purchase a new flosser instead.".

I declined the 40% discount offer, obviously, thinking that I will not buy their flosser again as the one I bought from them lasted only 7 (not '9' as they said in their email above) out of the 12-month warranty period.

I believe Floss Mates' warranty policy is unfair if it does not cover the one single component of the unit that makes the whole unit work. What use is there for the rest of the unit when its battery is dead?

It is also very unprofessional of Floss Mates to tell me that they will replace the faulty unit then take it back 3 days later saying the warranty does not cover the battery.

I apologize for the length of this review. I rarely provide reviews for products, specially if I am somewhat satisfied with them (which is something I should change), but I definitely want people to know about bad products and the unfair practices of companies that sell them.
