Not Happy With Fluidmaster Fill Valves Fitted a Fluidmaster Bottom-Entry Brass Shank Fill Valve 1/2" to my cistern about 6 months ago and it was never right because it would take at least 5 to 6 minutes to fill. Now I know my system works on low pressure but the tank in the loft is more than 2 meters, there was no flow restrictor fitted, no debris and the service valve fully open.

As I cannot return it now to Screwfix because it’s outside the time frame I decided to telephone Fluidmaster for support. I explained my problem and asked why this was happening and customer service told me it’s because this particular fill valve needs more than 0.2 bar of pressure to work?

Well it seems they do not know the correct specifications of their own product or have purposely told me some porky pies because according to research it actually only requires 0.1 bar!

I feel I was sold a product that was not fit for purpose and I am now out of pocket of around £16. I felt that customer service could have at least offered me a partial or full refund as a gesture of good will but I was completely wrong, not happy at all!

Their support team was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and efficient in helping me fix my toilet. They walked me through the process step by step, making it easy to understand, and their advice worked like a charm. My toilet is running perfectly now, and I couldn't be more grateful for their expert guidance. If you need assistance, this is the team you want on your side!

Excellent service – The inlet to my toilet cistern was leaking and even after replacing the seal it still leaked. I rang the company for some advice but they sent somebody out. He found a bit of the plastic had broken internally and replaced it all for free. All this for a $25 inlet valve. I reckon that's the best service ever and a company which stands behind their products.

Exemplary customer service – It’s not often you come across such great customer service , that is why I always believe you should call it out when you experience it. I recently was having trouble fitting a Fluidmaster valve and was at my wits end as to why I couldn’t get the cistern to fill faster so I called their technician department and was put in contact with a chap named Brian he was very patient and walked me through all the possible problems until we found the solution! Big thumbs up to Fluidmaster.
