Franke Artis TA 7000

Bad Franke – I had purchased a Franke Artis TA 7000, when I also purchased a Franke Sink (Harvey Normans), When the plumber was installing the tap he commented that it was faulty because the whole body including the hoses swivel, which can lead to the hoses becoming damaged. I called the franke help Line Spoke to a [name removed] 11/9/2014, "yes thats how they are, we all here queried these when we first got them". I informed the plumber and it was installed. 4 yrs on and countless times of having to re tighten the retainer nut, and fear of the hoses rupturing as they rub on the skin every time the unit is swivelled. I called them back, They have no record of my 1st call and they are not willing to exchange, they believe nothing is wrong, However they dont sell the Artis TA 7000 anymore.. Very poor form and poor consumer care.

Poor function for the expense – Sadly the spout does not swivel independent of the lever action. Poor design! Unfortunately I was unable to check this detail before purchase (along with a Franke sink which performs well!). There are many other cheaper products on the market which do not have this design fault. Look elsewhere
