Picturesque setting for lunch today but spoilt by disappointing food experience. Coffee was lukewarm despite us requesting extra hot. Two of us had almost finished meal before third person was served. Italian bruschetta was missing some advertised ingredients and when a complaint was made the replacement meal consisted of the same toast recooked on the same plate...dry and tasteless.

Unprofessional and aggressive – Waitress brought a drink to the table that we didn’t order, we politely said we hadn’t ordered it. She returns with the owner who proceeded to yell at us and call us liars. Put a complaint into the company and received harrassing emails with aggressive and unprofessional language. Avoid this place, any mistake is blamed on the customer. Show details

Worst experience – Very bad service. They seat larger groups first regardless of the time spent waiting. We waited in line for over an hour and realised they were seating new arrivals before us because they had a larger number of people. We were getting hungry after waiting so long, so I questioned them and they admitted to this. They said that they seat… Read more

according to the number of people rather than the time you’ve been waiting. Other people were just arriving (larger groups-no booking) and they were seating them before us. Two ladies had been waiting in front of us for over an hour and hadn’t been seated. I couldn’t believe this. I left and didn’t look back. No respect for your precious time. Not my type of place. Don’t go there!

Mother’s Day 12/05/2024 – The most dreadful experience ever. Arrived for 12.00 booking greeted by line of 200 people waiting to be seated. As the 11.30 booking had not been seated we estimated that we would be seated about 1.30. The absolutely worst Mother’s Day ever.Greedy management over booked and had no idea the chaos this caused. Will never ever return to this venue again. We left in disgust. You need to rethink your booking strategy or close up.

Great service, good atmosphere, well presented food – I took my eldest out for lunch at Glenhaven, service was prompt, efficient and friendly. Sat indoors where it was nice and quiet. Food arrived, extremely well presented. So why a bad review? Co-incidental perhaps, but my daughter and myself spent the entire afternoon on the toilet. This meal broke my fast, so it was my first meal in ~24 hours. No body else in our house was sick. Show details

Breakfast – Scrambled eggs way overcooked. Poached eggs overcooked French toast appalling Menu could be simpler and better executed as venue great.

Not going on Mother’s Day again – We went to Glenhaven branch on Mother’s Day 2023. Bad idea !! Cafe was way overbooked, manager and senior staff were working their socks off but couldn’t meet increased demands. 40+ minutes waiting in the queue to be seated and another 40+ minutes for food. We had a 2pm appointment and were served food at 3:30pm, kids were starving. Not going there on Mother’s Day again. Would have given them 4 star for other days :/ Show details

Rubbish service and management – Had the most disgusting experience today. A friend of mine asked for a single pancake only instead of a stack. It came out two inches thick not cooked in the middle dry and cakey. She advised the waitstaff who said they would get the manager. After a wait we asked another waitress to take it away and let the kitchen know it was inedible. 10 mins… Read more

later the manager (who refused to provide her name when asked and advised us when asked that she did not need to tell us) brought the rubbish back and said “it’s not dry” my friend explained it was inedible dry and cakey. The manager simply said bad luck you will have to pay for it. This manager should be sacked and sent back to McDonalds for retraining . Appalling will never go again!

Always Hit & Misses – I keep going to this restaurant and take my family on a regular basis. We sometimes get the combination of great service, great atmosphere and great food. Then we return, service poor, atmosphere hectic and food like packet food from a supermarket. Today I ordered the Falafel salad at $26.00. They say you can't order these items until after… Read more

11.30am due to the chef still doing breakfast menu and not wanting to be too busy to give the lunch menu their full attention. Full attention in this case would be, open a pack of supermarket mini falafel ball and dry them out with an airfryer/microwave heating. Drain a small can if tin corn kernels, open a pack of dried chickpeas, add a little bit of pickled onion and radish and a bit of chop lettuce with a vinegar drizzled over the top. My grandchild could do better, and I wouldn't nearly choke on the hard dried balls that pretend to pass as Falafel.
