0/10, would not recommend – [redacted] is a very poor and unprofessional buissness owner. Not only is he manipulative in his speech and advertisements, but he is always trying to sell and offer solutions to problems that dont exist. And if im being honest, an infant without a dummy could probably conduct themselves with better mannerisms aswell.

Disgraceful. Beware – Beware of this agent. From day one alarm bells were ringing. I successfully won at VCAT, looking at many reviews of Fre Real Estate online I’m not the only one. It’s almost comical that there’s a real estate agent that doesn’t know the basics of the tenancy act and tries to bully you into paying for costs which aren’t related to the tenant.

Thanks to Jason – I recently sold an apartment, in difficult personal circumstances, through this company. I only dealt with Jason and could not fault him. He was diligent, caring and always professional. I highly recommend him. He communicates well

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! – Just a horrible unprofessional company. Do not rent from this company! Do yourself a favor! Be prepared to fight for your bond and be treated like an idiot if you do. Never again!

Removed] (not sure), yelled at my son aggressively for asking questions on the form that he doesn’t understand. He was extremely rude and aggressive. I personally took it very offensive. He also said things like “if you can’t fill out the form how are you meaning pay for the rent? Also we are not choosing the tenant who can’t even fill in the form”. Those were exactly his words. Very unprofessional customer service I have ever seen in my life. Whoever talked to my son phone, if you are reading this, I HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL!

issues and it was refreshing to be able to pick up and phone and have genuine and honest conversation with Charles if I had any questions; I think that's the real benefit of renting through a small, local company. I've rented through a number of agents across Australia and found Charles and Fre to be excellent property managers.

Don’t trust the photos – There is an apartment that is being rented out by this company which is using photos from an another apartment (mine) as part of the advertising campaign. Don’t believe the adverts.

AVOID AT ALL COST – I have never come across someone as rude as charles. I think he has personality issues. I feel sorry for the lady he works with, she seemed level headed. Not sure how this business is still operating. AVOID LIKE COVID.

Would recommend! – I would definitely rent through Fre again. I've seen the mixed reviews but unlike what everyone else has said, Charles would always respond to my emails straight away, send trades out to fix things within 24 hours and was fine to deal with. I think that if you're respectful, look after the property and are proactive in documenting the existing condition then you'll be looked after in return. Charles and the team were great!

which made me shock. Even though we really love the place after the inspection, there is no way that I am going to rent that place and put name in the contract with him as an agent.

Very Nice guy! Amazing customer service! – recently started renting out an apartment in Elwood, Charles and his staff were extremely polite and nice. Did not have any issues with their service. The apartment was of top quality as promised by FRE. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trusty real estate they can rely on and trust.

Charles has gone above and beyond in the past two weeks to ensure that my transition to my apartment has been a stress free one. His flexibility and patience has been greatly appreciated. aggressive. I actually felt afraid being in his office. I would absolutely say NOT to use this real estate under any circumstances, he is a massive unpredictable bully. It was horrible walking away from the apartment as I had met the owner and we got along so well and I regretted not getting the owners direct number to tell him how his agent was treating tenants, he has been struggling to rent it and i think I now know why :( poor owner!

the lease for my new place I had been dealing with one of the agents working there (a really nice girl who didn't stay long!) I finished up, left the office and had just started walking down the street when I was called back to be told put a pointing raging man "I'm Charles, I'm the owner of this place, I know where you live and I know your neighbours, if you do anything you shouldn't i'm going to know about it!" What?! It certainly didn't get any better from there, threats and insults if I asked for anything to be fixed, 3 months for them to lodge my bond, no inspection in 4 years, the girls in the office left every few months, dodgy fees that kept changing when I wanted to leave. So glad to be out of there! Don't do it!

Worst 'agent' around! – I could not agree more with the above review. This real estate are extremely rude, terribly unprofessional and deceitful! In my 12 years of renting, I have never come across a more unprofessional or rude agency. Do yourself a favor and avoid having anything to do with them!

Do not rent with this agent – In all my years of renting I have never dealt with such rude and unprofessional people as these. Prepare to fight to get anything repaired. They don't return your calls or emails. Even threatening them with vcat doesn't matter to them. . I'm assuming they are familiar with visiting there.
