Fussy pet litter – Very brittle, easy for cat to track throughout house, it gets caught in her paws and spreads everywhere. Hard under foot when stood on. Scratches my leather lounge, traps in carpet, cuts linoleum and tiles when caught under doors and you go to shut open door. Show details

Unhappy this time with the 2nd bag – I have bought this product before on the internet, from a company in QLD who took 3-4 weeks to get it to me. It was a good product, similar to the Chandlers pet litter, I had been buying from Supermarkets. There were only a few lumps around the cat litter tray that the cat tracked, that I had to pick up, so I was happy with it. This 2nd bag I… Read more

bought from Habitat Pet Supplies from the store not far from where I live. I was very happy I could just go and pick it up. But this bag was effectively full of crushed clay, like sand. I poured out one litter tray full, as I had used up all previous supplies of this and another product and nothing else to use. I wasn't happy with the look of it, which was distinctly different to the bag I had purchased previously. I couldn't scoop it out of the 30 litre bag into the tray as it was so fine, it went straight through the litter scoop. When trying to scoop up the wet used litter from the tray, it too fell straight through the scoop and proved to be a problem to remove from the tray. Then I soon noticed that instead of just a few of the large chunks of clay that I normally have to pick up from around the tray, many, many tiny granules were being tracked all through the laundry and other rooms. I have had a huge amount of more work to do to sweep or vacuum it all up. I don't know if I was just unlucky and got a bag that was filled from the bottom of the manufacturers stockpile or if they have changed the way they produce it. But I'm reluctant to buy the product again to find out. I paid cash for it at my local store and because I cannot find the purchase receipt, Habitat Pet Supplies will not refund or exchange the large 30 litre bag for me. Even though they are the only place to purchase it around me. So I'm 1 good bag and 1 bad bag of this product. It might be pot luck what you get and if you get the bad bag you wont be impressed. I rang the manufacturing company today just after 4pm to find out if they have changed their processes and if all bags from now on will be 'sand like' but no one answered.

Fantastic value – We used to buy expensive litter for my cat, but it would still smell and we'd go through so much. Found this at my local agriculture supplies store and thought I couldn't go wrong for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. My cat loves it and it actually covers the pee smell better than the expensive stuff. Not to mention you don't have to use a whole lot. Overall very happy.

Easy and economical – I was using Breeder's Choice for a long time as I thought that was best and handy as I could buy from Coles/Woolworths. But after reading a review for Fussy Cat on Pawsforlife website, I decided to try on it. It was soooo good. I used to throw away lots every time my cat did wee, but this Fussy Cat leaves the surface so dry and I don't need to… Read more

clean so often. Just once in a few days, I shake it up and scoop hardened part at the bottom. That's all. As I change less times and less amount, it is very economical. I like it very much. (I think my cat does, too.) Economical and easy Heavy
