Not in my case. My Gaggenau combo, under warranty, literally had fumes and the repair technician cam on November 22, 2025. I had to call numerous times to be told it will be fixed on December 17 and then it was postponed to December 31. Over 5 weeks without any microwave/oven. Unacceptable. Unit is in Canada. I have 5 Gaggenau units in one house and 3 in this one. No more Gaggenau.
have 2 houses that both came these these appliances. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! Front fell of 1 microwave, no parts!. Open buton broke on another microwave. Computer board blew on 5yr old oven, no PARTS!. NEW OVEN! Ignition broke on hotplates $800!!! The products are complete rubish and about the mose expensave on the market! JOKE!
Follow-up · Update. Can’t fix hot plates after $800 quote…. NO PARTS. Had to replace…. Overpriced rubbish! You pay a massive premium to buy, but no parts after 10 years!! Where is the value proposition?? There isn’t one. I have replaced them with cheaper euro brands like Meile.
Oh Dear, after reading others reviews I wonder if we did the right thing by ordering these ovens. But too late to panic now. I also notice Gaggenau stopped taking notice and replying to these posts years ago, but I can confirm that service is still terrible. We had 14 year old Gaggenua's which gave great service but when we needed a spare part,… Read more
all parts for these models had been discontinued. So we ordered a new set even though the sizes had changed and would not fit in the old cabinet holes. On 1/10/2025 through Winning Appliances we ordered and paid for new set $19K worth. Winning as agent flicked the order on to Gaggenau and now say "deal with Gaggenau", who on their O/N 8301094015 said the cost was now 21K. The terms and conditions on the Gag order say ""your balance is due on 30/12/2025. When we phoned enquired of both Winning & Gag a week or so ago both said we should already have paid the balance to get the order into the system and they could not give us a delivery date until we did. Having paid next day and enquired about delivery dates, stony silence from both agent & supplier. So looks like no ovens for Xmas. THIS IS APPALING SERVICE FROM BOTH WINNING & GAGGENAU. IT'S UNPROFESSIONAL AT BEST AND DECEPTIVE AT WORST. DON'T DEAL WITH EITHER OF THESE FOLKS.
I spent over $50k on Gaggenau appliances through Winnings. Induction cooktop was faulty on arrival. Gaggenau refused to deal with my builder, wasted everyone's time. Didn't accept a receipt as proof of purchase, making every excuse possible to not service or repair. They still have not fixed the cooktop 3 months later. Would not buy again.
Terrible service – Gaggenau after service is terrible. Even under warranty, you have to fight for it, and then I ended up paying labour and shipping. They cover parts only. You will never be able to talk someone consistently, every time you talk to different people, and nobady can do anything. Then you wait for this Paul to respond by email only, he only tell you what you will do, never discuss with you, not take your questions. DO NOT recommend it.
poor product quality and unacceptable customer service – We purchased two ovens (BOP250 and BSP270) last year. Unfortunately, both of them went out of order in their first year of usage. BOP250 didn't lock its door for the cleaning cycle from the very beginning. It was repaired and then fully stopped working 3 months after the control panel was replaced. However, it is only half of the problem. Another… Read more
story is absolutely unacceptable Gaggenau aftersales service. I lost count of how many times I had to call them to get my ovens serviced and then replaced. After a month of living without any working oven at home I still have no result to my requests, not even timeframe for their services. Unfortunately, I can't recommend neither Gaggenau product, no their service.
A real Professional equipped with the right tool and parts – If I could give 10 stars to Andrew from Gaggenau who services, the Gold Coast and Brisbane. I would his Professionalism, knowledge of the product, punctuality and equipment is just first class. He gives me a wakeup call, so I know he is on his way and always comes prepared with all the right parts. Thank you, Andrew.
Boo for Gaggenau – 3rd time same problem and now no part’s available to repair my BS281610 Gaggenau Combi Steam Oven Thus is a know design defect where in combination from the halogen bulb heat with the steam and heat from the oven eventually cracks the glass lens and craps out the entire oven should nice the main board is not protected. Gaggenau don’t care having… Read more
no parts for a known issue. Why spend this kind of money for a terrible experience. Yes they offered me a new replacement for $6000 that’s crazy because their ignorance of not having parts. Stay away not worth the money to buy a dressed up Bosch product Stay with Sub/Wolf or Miele for a better experience that stand behind their products and care about their customers
Gaggenau dishwasher -poor outcome – We had a Gaggenau technicion out to 'fix' our dishwasher door issue- it flopped open and was not safe to use. However it was not fixed appropriately and now opens too far down towards the floor. The bottom tray now doesn't slide out properly.
Can’t get parts – After purchasing a Gaggenau oven in 2014 thinking it would last a long time given the cost and it being a high end product (I thought), I am so very disappointed that I have an issue with it and have now been advised that there are no spare parts available to repair it as they don’t make them anymore. I will never purchase this brand again, nor… Read more
any “high end” product as it is clear to me that these are not made to last and there is no point in paying the high price for something you have to replace in a relatively short amount of time. Very very disappointed !
Great Oven, if it doesn't break – Bought a Gaggenau steam oven a few years ago, it's now broken and we're told it's the door mechanism which will cost almost $800 to fix. I'd love an explanation why one of the most expensive brands on the market only have a 2 year warranty. I've seen the low end of the market offer 5 year warranties, yet Gaggenau only offer 2. I guess that… Read more
represents how much faith they have in their product.
I'd suggest anyone considering a Gaggenau to look at another brand that offers a warranty which represents their faith in the product they sell.
I'd also echo the other reviews, Gaggenau really needs to improve their service and support to match the brand and price they're charging.
Appalling customer service! – Technicians attended 4 times which included: the door being removed and replaced, the door being replaced with a brand new door, the entire oven removed and reinstated causing damage to the cabinetry & then another technician accompanying the original technician. Technicians still couldn't identify the cause of water pouring out of the door. … Read more
Gaggenau suddenly insisted it was an installation fault and therefore not covered under warranty (why was this not realised earlier if it were to be fact?). As the product was installed exactly as instructed, with photographs and installation references from the installation manual, I continued to follow up. I asked in writing a number of times for evidence regarding the supposed incorrect installation. I also requested in writing for the unit to be replaced. Gaggenau/Winnings simply stopped responding to emails & phone calls.

Excellent after sales service – As a result of a recent Gaggenau kitchen appliance fault, I phoned Gaggenau and requested parts representative send me the appliance manual and appliance specifications (Gaggenau range hood/extractor, 2004 model, AH 250-160). The relevant documents were immediately emailed to me. I was then able to identify and order spare parts required to fix… Read more · 1
appliance fault (blown lamp, and damaged lamp sockets). I then booked Gaggenau service technician. Andrew from Gaggenau Brisbane team arrived on time, and promptly & professionally repaired faulty appliance (this required dismantling appliance to replace lamp sockets). Gaggenau did not charge me for technician call out fee. As my appliance is many years out of warranty, I only paid for parts and technicians repair work time. My 2004 Gaggenau appliance is now working as good as new. Thank you Gaggenau, thank you Andrew (Service Technician).

Never Ever Ever Again! – Kitchen renovation 8 years ago. Purchased 2 wall ovens, dishwasher and microwave. Was told I would still be enjoying them in 30 years time. 2 years later, top oven breaks. Repair man couldn't even tell the microwave from the oven. Said I need a new part, $800 later, still not working. Then told I needed a new mother board for $2000. After… Read more
much back and forth between Gaggenau and Independent repair centre blaming each other, I eventually had problem resolved. Fast forward 6 months ago. Top oven overheats and microwave button not working. Repair man comes out (much more knowledgeable this time), diagnoses problem and suggests new parts but Gaggenau no longer make spare parts after 7 years, so my only option is a new oven and microwave. Oven at $10 000 and micro at $4000. I say NO THANKS and buy a Neff for $2000. Final nail in the coffin? Second oven breaks 2 days before the Neff is installed. Didn't even bother ringing to see if fixable. Have ordered another Neff, I am happy with it. My advice to anyone looking at Gaggenau products... DON'T DO IT! Absolutely terrible service and if these top of the range products are irreparable after 7 years, why bother.

Wrong information – At the time of Purchasing this product I was told that this oven could clean itself with out the use of chemicals. However after noticing marks on the interior surface I was informed by Gaggenau that I would need to use chemicals.I only purchased this product because my daughter has a serious medical condition and cleaning without chemicals would help her.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NO PARTS IN AUSTRALIA – We moved into our brand new unit 1 month ago with 1 x Gaggenau steam oven, 1 x Gaggenau Hot air oven, 1 x Gaggenau warming drawer, 1 x Gaggenau induction hot plate, 1 x Gaggenau Dishwasher. We purchased Gaggenau as we considered it the best of the European appliance brands. We have previously in our other home had VZug which was an excellent brand… Read more
with excellent service. When both the ovens were commissioned by the installing electrician they tripped the circuit breaker. I reported this to Gaggenau Aust and a service tech was sent out 1 week later. He diagnosed that both ovens had faulty elements and they would both need replacing. Here we are 1 month later and the ovens have not been replaced or repaired. The reason given was that Gaggenau could not be expected to hold parts for all the range of products. Really! Elements for your new and standard range of appliances I would consider to be essential stock and we have been extremely disappointed in Gaggenau's response. Is the level of service that we are going to be faced with if in the future we suffer another warranty related failure in any of our appliances? Dissapointed in Gagganeau, you bet?
