Bad, not so old, hairdryer replaced by this fabulous new baby – My previous GA.MA iQ Perfetto was replaced as it died in under 2 years. They do have a 2 year warranty, so I had a new one, very happy. However it is now just over 2 years and this one simply stopped! Mid blow dry too, if you don't mind!! One of my girlfriends has a Pro-One Aerolite dryer and I tried it out. Very similar to the iQ BUT... the… Read more

temperature is controllable, not so jolly hot and therefore much easier to use. Still very powerful and bits don't break and drop off. It's my new favourite toy, it's pink AND half the price, woohoo!! I'll let you know how it goes long term. Cheers everyone XX

Defective and no help from the company – I wanted to love this dryer because of its weight and power. First time I used it, the attachments would go flying off. I contacted them and they set new ones. Great, these are magnetized so no problems. Now my dryer becomes burning hot to the touch and shuts itself off. I was blow drying for about 4 minutes when this happened. I will note, I’ve… Read more

only had this dryer for a month and a half!!! Contacted the company and they are not willing to do anything for me. This item is defective!!! I even sent videos of it shutting off along with pictures of the filter. Still they will not do anything. I am stuck with a piece of expensive junk. Do Not Buy!

Zero star for Gamma blowdry – Shockingly bad hair-dryer. Won't refund me and have to send it for repair and replace.. if they even do! Made a huge mistake purchasing another as mine was sent for repair. And that stopped working after two weeks as it dosnt heat up after using it for 2 mins. As a professional this is not a proffesional product and will have to share my… Read more

experience with all my customers. I wish for better customer service then this. Very upsetting that I've spent nearly $1000 of my money which I won't get back.

waste of money – im writing this with my personal experience and my coworker who has the same brand. i have a gamma hairdryer and i would never buy from this company ever again. my hairdryer gets so hot that the plastic is blistering around the nozzle which isnt great considering how closely i work to peoples faces and scalp. it is impossible to clean the air vent… Read more

it doesnt come off and when i go to the business that i purchases the tool from the only information they can tell me is to clean the vent. like thanks. my coworkers gamma is a newer version that comes with a different set of issues. there is a minute delay when she turns the tool on to when it actually starts. the attachments fall off mid session and the dryer is starting to quit completely mid drying session. all these issues are making it very difficult to provide the service my guests deserve/pay for and it makes it difficult for me as a stylist to focus and give the hair that my clients are wanting

Not worth the money – Had this dryer 16 months and now it won’t turn on at all, it went with a kind of pop so I think it’s burnt out, it was nice because its light weight but even when using it in the last 3-4 months it used to cut out now it’s gone altogether definitely not worth the money Show details

Hair like straw – I’ve my Gama two years now. Initially I liked it because it is light and fast. Then I began to notice how dry and brittle my hair was getting and then my hair started falling out. It was some time( months) before I connected it to the dryer but I’ve stopped using it now and my hair is on the mend. Show details

Warning l! Do not buy – Have had this hairdryer just short of 2 years. Started falling apart at about 10 months. Cracked and ring on back cracked. Holds all stains and always looked dirty. Now the thing won’t turn on at all. We take care of our things and never have dropped or anything. Not worth the high price we paid. Show details

I wish I bought a Dyson instead – Chose the gamma IQ over the Dyson. It was good until a coworker dropped it and the little plastic ring on the back cracked. The piece is $3.00 but is not available in my country, so my $452.00 CAD blow-dryer is useless. Show details

Customer service non existant – I bought a Gama HQ dryer there was no heat. They told me that they do not send out return shipping labels. EVER So I have a broken dryer, I have to shell out $50 to return, they gave me nothing but hassle, SO I contested the charge on my credit card. I am still out the $50 dollars for the return shipping.  Show details

Great potential – The lightest by far professional hair dryer, in fact almost two and a half times lighter than Dyson !!!, which is extremely important for professional use. Great ergonomics and balance. As a result fewer health issues with strained muscles, joints or ligaments for salons staff. Very powerful. Sound is on a higher pitch than human voice (which is… Read more

in middle range) so I find it easier to talk with clients while blow drying. Faults: too hot on warm setting, the filter ring is crap. It should've been redesigned as a one piece or made of nylon or metal. All up, fantastic idea and considering that this is the first iteration it has to be tweaked. If the initial bugs are fixed it will kill every other professional hair dryer on the market.

Don’t waste your money – I have replaced the ring of the filter twice as it just easily broke very cheaply made. And spent $20 each time, and now the air started blowing out of the sides and it’s now melting  Show details

Love it but hate it – I have had my gama for 8 months now I own a salon and I love how fast it works. But I’m the 8 months and I am very protective of my tools everything has broken and I have pretty much replaced the whole dryer. And it’s all breaking again the little clip from the side even fell out so now it wobbles how does that happen. It’s a great idea but the… Read more

Noisiest hairdryer ever invented – I’ve been a hairdresser for 35 years and I’ve had to ban this dryer from my stylists using it in the salon. The motor is so high pitched even the clients complained about the noise. Also the cream colour of the unit stains terribly with tint, and the silver ‘o’ ring around filter breaks after a few weeks. The only positive thing I say is the dryer is very lightweight. Waste of $399  Show details

Best hair dryer on market – I bought this hair dryer for personal use in February this year and I am extremely satisfied. It is very light (under 300g), has a powerful motor, comes with three attachments, has a self-cleaning system, has a lock button (when using it you do not have to be careful not to change the settings if you touch a button) and other very useful… Read more

specifications. My hair, which is long and wavy, looks very good after drying and I am happy that I made such a good choice. I recommend it with all confidence and even if it is expensive it is worth all the money.
