Useless Garbage – This device is only useful if you run our walk outside. If you use a treadmill or bike it is totally useless and there is no way to manually add treadmill steps. The wrist band can chafe your wrist quite badly as well. After purchasing this garmin product I would never buy garmin again! Show details

Wear it all day. 1 week battery life and accurate gps – I have always worn Garmins for their reliability and performance and bought this watch as an upgrade to my previous forerunner 220. the app. This happened a couple of times and to Garmins credit they fixed it as quickly as possible. Since then it has been flawless.

I only used to wear a watch for running but now I put this on when I get out of bed and only take it off when I go to bed. It is so comfortable I don't notice it. The battery life is 1 week which is fantastic considering the alternatives I was considering had a 2 day max life. I had considered getting a smart watch that tracks fitness but opted for this fitness watch that has some basic smart watch functions. I feel it to be a great trade off. I enjoy checking my step count, tracking my run history etc and feel it encourages me to go one better - a little bit further or a little bit faster the next time.

Great sports watch below average instruction guide – I really like the quality and functionality of the Garmin device. I do find that the manual is poorly written, hard to follow, lacks details and generally lets the product down. I am still finding month after buying functionality I didn't know that was there! Would I buy another Garmin, mostly definitely. Also a tip, while they do say waterproof, which I have found they are, note that the buttons do not like salt water and tend to stick and can become inoperable. I have returned one watch (within 30days of purchase) due to a button being stuck and becaming inoperable. So, be careful, run under water to clear out the salt water.

Great potential, poor execution – Bought this fitness wearable so I could download and listen to music/pods while out exercising (and leave the phone at home). Have had it for a couple of months now and, boy, is this thing frustrating. It started off well, having set up Garmin Connect and linked it to my Spotify account. Now, while it still sees the playlist, it either partially downloads the playlist or downloads nothing. Have deleted the playlists and tried starting again, but no joy. It will be going back from whence it came.
