Died in under a year – Bought less than a year ago after a lot of research. Rather liked it at first but I’ve noticed lately that it tells me to get up and move even though I’m actually walking .. then it tells me to take a break when I’ve been laying about for an hour reading ‍.. then last week it stopped working altogether and all I get is a triangle on the face. I… Read more

googled this and read that it’s a known fault and the watch needs to be returned to Garmin. I followed the links to return it and guess what … Australia isn’t a country that’s listed for return. So I’m left with a completely unusable watch that I’ve had for under a year, with no receipt from where I bought it. The following day I went to Harvey Norman and bought an Apple SE watch for way less than what I paid for the Garmin. This watch far surpasses the Garmin in every way and I’m so much happier with it. I won’t ever buy Garmin again.

Disappointed – Was led to believe I could answer calls, should have went with Samsung. Same price! Show details

Failure as a fitness watch – Have had my watch for 6 months now. Attractive watch for small wrists. With a twist of the wrist lily should show me the screen but only does this 50% of the time. Been wearing every night but have no sleep data for a week. A really weak watch that never fails to disappoint. Show details

Garmin Lily Sport - Don't waste your money – I decided to try the Garmin Lily Sport after my sister got one and she liked it. I had previously been using Fitbit but they were breaking after 2 yrs so thought it was time to try something else. I like the watch size as I have a small wrist and it's not too chunky but the silicone band is awful it has ripped my skin twice and I'm constantly… Read more

adjusting the band to make it comfortable, I had no problem with the Fitbit bands. I brought a cheap leather band to see how that would go and then find out I need some tool to change it which is ridiculous so now I'm stuck with the silicone unless I fork out more money. The app is messy looking and hard to read, the battery life is not that good and if you go for a walk and forget to start activity it takes up to 15 mins before it registers that your exercising. I won't be buying another Garmin and will most likely look at going back to Fitbit.

Horrible strap – The watch function is very basic, but it is okay. The strap is horrible. It took me ages to find one that isn’t silicone, then when I finally got it, I couldn’t change it because of the stupid connection. Whoever thought of and approved this design needs a new job. What is wrong with the standard pin design for a watch strap?

Poor quality broken after 18 months – Watch is supposedly water resistant. Have done nothing more than its intended water rating and it's gotten water in it and died. My sister has the same watch and hers is the first model that came out. Still going strong no issues. I know mine is faulty given the quality of my sister's whose never scratches and is still working fine. Mine is… Read more

scratched badly on the "unscratchable screen" and because it's older than 12 months nothing will be done about it. Even though it's not that old. Not worth it save your money and buy something different that will hopefully last longer than 18 months.

It's a watch which recieves messages - thats all. Poor functionality – I've only had it a few days after "upgrading" from a Fitbit Luxe which like all previous Fitbits died after 2 years. I liked that the Lily was small and looked like a watch rather than a fitness tracker. I have very narrow wrists and the watches just looked ridiculous on me. While I wouldn't normally choose pink, the watch faces on the other… Read more

colours were pretty ugly.

What I hate - sleep tracking doesn't pick up naps and doesn't allow for manual upload.

The app is not great either - it's cluttered and garish.

I do like that I can get messages from all my messaging platforms on the watch which my FB couldn't do.

I miss the health and fitness functionality of my fitbit.

Garmin needs to bring out a petite watch with better functionality before I could recommend it

Updated after 3 months of use. I still like the look of the watch and that I can get messages etc on it. But as a fitness/health/sleep tracker it really really sucks. It's just not very accurate or responsive. I wish I had not wasted my money.

So disappointed – I replaced my old Samsung with the Garmin Lily Classic and it was a big mistake. Firstly, you can't make calls or send texts with it, so not a great smart watch. It has no voice activation. The sleep tracking is so off it's laughable. But the thing that really gets me is that the 'alarm" doesn't even make a sound! There are probably features on… Read more

the watch that work great, but the few I've mentioned are the ones I use regularly and worked perfectly on the Samsung. I'm so upset at myself for not just upgrading my Samsung to a newer model.

Awful – I got this as a gift after years using fitbits. This is incredibly unreliable. One day the battery will be fine and another day it will run out within a few hours. It needs to be charged way too often which disturbs your step count or sleep. Would not recommend. Show details

Disappointing – Simply doesn’t work. Doesn’t receive messages or texts despite many support conversations. Garmin app needs to be continually on in your phones background so your phone is drained. The watch randomly disconnects from Bluetooth for no reason. Data is lost for no reason. Clunky to set up, with Garmin support most unknowledgeable. I returned a Vivo… Read more

about a year ago as it simply didn’t work and naively thought the Lily might have some improvements. Clearly not and this one is getting returned tomorrow.

A really good minimal smart watch – I bought the purple one this july and working perfectly. If u set the hand gestures on fast mode it lights up every time u turn ur wrist, but with slow option it doesn’t always work that way . Otherwise I checked every feature individually and all works perfect . Although the app seems messy than the fitbit app .coz to put calorie intake u have… Read more

to install another app while fitbit does it all by its one app . Other than that its great . Battery life is 4 days and gets recharged within 30 minutes. N have been taking showers n giving my toddler a bath wearing it n no problem at all . I

wanted to love it....hopeless! – I really wanted to love this watch, but can't. I bought the rose gold version and it is a beautiful looking piece. However, within hours of buying it, it stopped working. I tried everything to get it to turn on, but couldn't get it to activate. I just figured that it wasn't charged properly as it was so new. Put it on to charge at home and for 2… Read more

days it was great. Then the black screen of death again and had to plug into the charger (even though it wasn't flat) just to get it to activate. It loses connection with my phone every few hours and is unresponsive more often than not. It only semi-activates after using "find my device" on the app and even then, it only tells you the time. The only way to get full activation is to reset the system every day and then you lose all the tracked data and have to re-pair it with your phone. WHEN it works it is great and easy to read, with intuitive navigation, but it just DOESN'T work often. I have noticed other reviews on other sites have had similar issues as mine within weeks of buying. Mine is 2 weeks old and I'm totally over it.

Will be returning to get a refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING. Totally hopeless and so disappointing.

Garmin Lily Smartwatch. Not what I'd hoped for – I bought this watch in March 2021 after doing quite a lot of research on women’s smartwatches. I thought it was going to be the perfect watch for me. It wasn’t big and clunky and had all the features I was looking for. Unfortunately, I became dissatisfied because of a number of issues that arose with the watch. These included, but weren't limited… Read more

to:

• On two occasions the watch set off a very loud alarm in the middle of the night that was audible on my iphone, once at 4:15am, then again another time at 2am. My phone showed the Garmin Connect app with the message “phone found using Lily”. On neither of these occasions had I set an alarm. • The heart rate alert function had some days when it worked, then the very next day, doing exactly the same activity, it didn’t. • Over two months, sleep data was missing for five whole nights. • I had many attempts to sync the quick add hydration feature on my watch with the app, but it didn’t sync.

However, the thing that I was most disappointed about was the lack of customer service from Garmin. A different person responded to my emails each time, often asking questions that I’d already answered. Sometimes they didn’t even seem to understand the issue, even though I’d attached detailed photos of both the phone and their app demonstrating the problem. After two months and 14 emails backwards & forwards, and because I could not get any sensible responses from Garmin Product Support, I returned the watch to the retailer and received a full refund. Thank goodness I hadn’t purchased it online.

I had previously considered Garmin to be a reliable brand, but with such appalling product support, I no longer think so.
