Garmin - Venu – The watch worked for what I needed it for until I needed to reset it inorder to re-load the "connect" app on my phone after some ongoing issues. After several attempts with various instructions from Garmin (that unfortunately) did not work, the watch is unable to be reset. Show details
Do not recommend – I do not recommend this watch - purchased Feb 2020. It does not count steps accurately (I guess the good news is that it undercounts), getting it to “wake up” to see the time is next to impossible even with the most sensitive settings. about battery life but given this needs to be charged every other day, due to functions used, charge it every day anyway.
Great watch that looks good but everybody I know with a Garmin has an allergic reaction to the band – Overall it's a nice looking watch and has some good features, however, I have to constantly change wrists or have a break as my wrists are red raw with allergic reactions to the band. the same thing. I really want to count my steps but can't do that when I can't wear the watch all the time. I don't even wear it in the shower as I thought that might make it worse.
Good now – Great watch, only problem so far was the silicon wrist band, it caused extreme skin irritation, told them and they replaced the strap for a leather one, all good now. Update, had to give the watch to my wife as i had an allergic reaction to the actual watch :(
Poor quality, inacurate tracking, screen didnt last a week of minimal daily use before sctatched – Extremely dissapointed in this watch. Bought new. Withing a week and a half with not much light everyday use the screen was all scratched. Extremely poor quality screen. Have had smart watches for years now and never had the screen scratch. I contacted garmin straight away thinking perhaps I got a fault screen and watch. There answer was screen is cosmetic and not their problem. I'd say it is its a smart watch its a major fault if the screen you use to operate it and view the information can not stand daily use. Also extemly unhelpful in regards to the sleep tracking.
They did offer for me to return my week and a half old watch(with no refund) to get a 50% discount off a new watch. So I would end up with one watch, having paid for two, one at full price and one at half price.
I have lodged a complaint with consumer affairs. Garmin very poor quality product and customer service. Will never buy a garmin product again.
