Have had Venu 3 for around 5 months. When I first received the watch and after going through the startup sequence, I was quite impressed and that was after moving across from Samsung Galaxy watches. Unfortunately, the Google Assistant feature on the watch no longer functions and I have attempted everything to try and recover the Assistant feature… Read more

but have not been successful. It's very disappointing as this is an essential element of a smart watch and degrades the initial impression I had for the watch. I'm ever hopeful that the developers at Garmin can come up with a solution to this problem. Apart from that issue it's a very good watch but it's let down by this major flaw.

I bought a Venue 3s in October 2024. The sleep scoring is very conservative. Ie it often rates my sleep quality as quite low, but i know from my daily activity and how i feel that its not that bad. The pulse measurement is very slow to engage when I'm doing intervals on the static bike at home. The band tightness is correct but it takes several… Read more

seconds to locate and display my pulse. The steps per day measurement is way off reality. It over calculates steps/day by at least 50%. I think if i buy another smart watch one day it will need to be a lot smarter than this one. The available instructions on how to use various activity's listed are poor and difficult to work out. The battery life is not what is claimed.

Garmin Venu 3 - only for wearing inside your house – Great watch for all the tech, but so so fragile. My 1st Venu 3 lasted 6 weeks before the screen cracked. My 2nd Venu 3 lasted 2 days before its screen cracked. Garmin offered to replace the watch for $106 each time. But why should I have to pay at all, this is clearly a design fault. It should be free until Garmin toughen the current watch face.… Read more

I’m not a rock climber nor do I participate in extreme sports, I’m just a 60 year old average Joe. I asked Garmin for a full refund but there answer was NO. I then asked for a different model with a stronger glass/bezel and I even offered to pay any extra amount. They again said NO. Do they put their customers first or care about resolving the issue? A resounding NO. I’d definitely stay clear of this Garmin watch and their warranty team who were extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. Typical of a global brand that only cares about the sale and not about the customer.

Garmin Venu 3s is a great accessory! – Got a Venu 3s for Christmas and I love it! Tossed up between a couple of brands and models but settled on this one as it seemed to have everything I was looking for. Battery lasts great, I get a week. Still learning how to read all the stats but they seem consistent and fairly accurate. I do get annoyed with it telling me the same things like "you need a little more sleep today" and if I am sweating lots the band does 'rub' and irritate. Show details

venu 3 – I really like the features this version. lt appears that it may be the only germin watch that has both speaker and microphone, so lcan answer and speak on calls via the venu 3 watch its self. This feature is particularly useful with the fall detection feature that l need. lm able to speak to emergency or previously elected people in an emergency… Read more

situation lm in and unable to move and get close enough to my phone to use it. lm able to make and answer calls via the watch! It's battery life is longer than venu 2. The nap detection feature is good too along with adding a variety of apps. It's not just an activity, sport etc watch but these other unique features are so useful and necessary for myself.

An Excellent Smart Watch and Health/Fitness Tracker – Just prior to the launch of the Venu 3, I had done a lot of research on what I considered to be the best fitness smart watch (for me) and the Garmin Venu 2 came up trumps. Four of the key reasons being: 1.Battery life 2. Platform independence 3. NFC payment 4. No ongoing subscription requirement. Unfortunately the Venu 2 that I purchased appeared… Read more

to be faulty, as it constantly disconnected from Bluetooth and was never able to add my NFC payment method despite numerous attempts, resets and support interactions. Ultimately I was offered a refund as there was no replacement stock at Garmin.

Turns out the lack of stock was due to the incoming Venu 3.

Despite being a little jaded by my experience with the Venu 2, research on the Venu 3 showed it was an ever better option, with a slightly larger screen, better battery life and on-wrist phone calling.

The Venu 3 is an amazing watch. Slim, light and with a 10+ day battery life. The AMOLED screen is both bright and easy to read. Health tracking functionality was initially a bit erratic, however three months into the new model, multiple software updates have now made it exceptionally accurate and an invaluable insight in body health. Especially stress and sleep management.

All the other functions, such as NFC, Bluetooth, music control etc. work flawlessly.

The only major negative I had with this watch was the included rubber strap. It was extremely uncomfortable and irritated my wrist to the point of chafing and skin irritation. I switched it for a fabric strap and can now wear the watch 24/7 without issue, albeit at additional cost.
