The old George foreman cooked the best food. This new version is absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend this new version. Please do not waste your money or time Show details
Poor quality, waste of money – I bought this and used it twice. Third time light went on but it remained cold. I returned it and got a replacement. This time I used it once and then same thing happened. Returned and got my money back this time. Even when it worked it did heat up enough to even toast bread or melt cheese and that was being on there for about 20 mins. Show details

Useless! – After taking 45 minutes to cook thin sausages i thought it only fair to give it a second chance only to get the same result. It's now in the bin on It's way to the tip. Show details

clean and tasty – we purchased our george foreman GR30 on 18th Aug 2003, so now its over 10 years old, we paid $84 for it at big w, we cook, sausages, steaks, chops etc and we also cook cheese toasties, its been very good, lets the fat run off, tasty meals and it is easy to clean, be careful that you don't trap the electricity cord in the hotplates, six months… Read more
ago we purchased the smaller george forman grill, for when we wanted to just cook a single cheese and tomato toast. less fat, easy to clean and store
Such an awesome appliance – I use this grill when I'm cooking lamb or something else that is fatty. I throw on some veg with it and then dinner is served. All the fat drains out and I'm left with tender meat. Love this, although it can be hard to clean. I always go for the largest size to fit on enough vegetables as well as meat. It cooks great, love the bbq flavour, can cook from frozen, great time saver Hard to clean
Nothing beats it – Had my foreman for a few months... absolutely fantastic. use it open , use it closed. all fat drips away. it has some good power as it doesn't take long to cook your food. surface is easy to clean after cooking. you can actually see the amount of fat and oil that you would usually eat. powerful. clean
Amazed by how well this cooks steaks! – I thought that being on a lean as it is (to drain off excess fat) that it might dry out steaks etc but it doesn't at all. Steaks come out just like you have cooked them of a b-b-q! As long as you clean the grill while it's still warm, it's really quite easy to clean and since meat should rest a third of the amount of time which it took to cook… Read more · 1
it, it leaves plenty of time to clean the grill right after use. :) How well it cooks Steaks, T-Bones etc without drying them out. You have to remember to put the drip try under the front... before you start cooking!
How did i do without it! – This George Forman griller is fabulously fast.Cooks without using fat, all meat fat drains away making it healthy .I bought it to use it in our caravan tried it out before we left and it hasn't got to go in the van.Goodbye barbeque, griller is so much easier, cleaner, and quicker. Also so easy and fast to clean. Good – This grill is so easy to use and there is a great drip tray which you place at the bottom in the front so that all the fats and the juices drip down into it for easier cleaning. I can grill kebabs, sausages, veggies, breads, anything on this grill. Its fantastic because I can still have grilled food even if its cold or raining outside, all because… Read more
I can use this one inside. Overall, I have used my grill for many years and it still works great. This is an easy to use grill so that you can have yummy food anytime its convenient for you. You have to make sure you clean it properly after use, otherwise the food can get stuck on the plates, and that makes it twice as hard to clean.
No More Fat Splattered Stove Top – We've be using a George Forman Grill for approximately 3 1/2 years now and even though I've had one blow up, I'm more than happy with it and didn't hesitate to buy another one. If you shop around and pay cash you should be able to pick one up for some where between $45 to $60. If your paying close to $100 your going to the wrong stores. I… Read more
first bought one for cooking sausages without all that fat splatter you get doing them in a fry pan on the stove top. I was absolutely wrapped with the results. It cooked them heap quicker than in the pan without burning the outside. Having the closed lid stopped them from curling up making it easy to turn them and cook them all round.
I've tryed cooking other meats and home made burger patties in it also with mixed results.
I love it for cooking Pork and Lamb chops as it drains the fat away and for the same reason as sausages, it cooks well without burning the outside.
My burger patties came out a little dry and were not as nice as the ones I did in the fry pan at the same time.
I will not cook bacon in anything else now as you get that done in the pan taste without all the greasy fat. Much better taste than the microwave and a lot less mess afterwards.
For marinated meats I found it's not very good as the marinade tends to burn and if you don't burn it the meat doesn't have the same full flavour as the the fry pan.
I still can't get a steak to taste as good as when I do them in the pan either.
It relatively easy to clean with the special sponges and done while it's still warm. The fat tray is easy to clean out and can be put in the dishwasher. You get two of them so while one is being washed you can still use the grill.
The only improvements I would make to this appliance would be to have a temperature adjustment for cooking marinated meats and have the hot plates removable for washing in the dishwasher. Inexpensive, Drains the fat away, Heats up and cooks things in quick time, Haven't found the right way to cook a great steak like I can in the fry pan, I found it no good for cooking marinated meats due to no temperature control.
Excellent – I have had the Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine for about a month now and I don't think a day has gone past when it hasn't been used. It makes terrific toasted sandwiches, fantastic foccacia, superb steak, lovely lamb chops, the best burgers and sumptuous shasliks. It can even reheat pizza. Cleaning is only a hassle if the machine is cold… Read more
and the drip tray is removeable and dishwasher safe. (top load) The best appliance I have ever used. Fast, healthy and easy to use. It is non-stich=k making cleaning a breeze. (just a quick wipe with a wet paper towel while it is still hot) Keeps food moist if you follow the guide for times and don't overcook. It is great! I have yet to find anything I dislike about this appliance.
Excellent – I don't know how I got along for the past decade without this! I use it every day, it lives on my bench alongside the kettle and toaster. It astounds me that for years I would add a little oil to my frypan to cook our meals, when now not only am I not adding fat, I'm watching it drain out! I thought homemade meatballs and crumbed chicken… Read more
would suffer cooking in this (as I tended to get over-excited with the oil when frying these two) but I can honestly say, they're every bit as tasty as they were, with the added bonus of being a whole lot healthier!
The kids love it so much I sometimes do them toasties in it, they love the pattern it makes on the bread. I'm just happy everyone is A) eating and B) eating healthier.
Should have bought one years ago. Easy to cook on, easy to clean, promotes healthier eating, an inexpensive purchase.
Good – I use the George Foreman weekly to grill various cuts of meats and vegetables, but particularly toasted sandwiches. Its simple to use and works really fast. It's really convenient, especially on those lazy nights. I love the fact that its a healthier cooking method, and it makes everything taste yummier! The drip tray is so convenient in reducing… Read more
mess in the kitchen as it keeps all the fat in one spot. Just make sure you clean it immediately, otherwise you'll be scrubbing for a long time. Great non-stick surface, quick and easy to use and clean. Just one wipe and your done! Nothing really- its a perfect product!

Good – I use the George Foreman's family grill a few times a week and love the way it cooks evenly and quickly. It is fairly easy to clean if you do so when it is still warm. I bought this second hand and it has been my best kitchen purchase. The design is excellent - all the fat drips down into the tray rather than the food sitting in all that… Read more
grease! Love the non stick surface, quick cooking time and ease of use. Perfect size for a small family. I cook a wide variety of food on the grill, especially handy when hubby is not home to fire up the bbq. Nothing really!
Excellent – Love this!! Cooks your meat, vegies etc in half the time as it cooks both sides at once. Meat stays moist but loses the fat. Non-stick so easy to clean, just re-heat for a few seconds and rub over with a wet paper towel or cloth. It does smoke a little but I sit it on a chopping board on top of the stove and it all goes up in the exhaust fan. … Read more
Looks good enought to leave sitting on the bench. Drip tray is loose so easy to empty and wash. Easy to cook and clean. Healthy and Quick!
Good – Excellent grill for eliminating the excess fat in meats easy to use just heat up and place your meat on cooking it quickly as it cooks both sides at once leaving meat fat free and tender. Perfect for Steaks, Patties, Chicken, Tuna and even veggies. We love our George!!! Quick Easy Healthy way to cook meat and grilled vegies. Until you get into a… Read more
knack of cleaning it the first few times are a little difficult. Now i find the bottom plate easy to clean but the top plate is a little tricky but the benefits of healthy grilled foods far out weighs the cleaning downfall.
Excellent – It's a pretty good option. It's definately worth every cent because we use it so much and are much healthier thanks to our griller. It means no more frying in oil. It's a bit of a pain to clean but the scrapers that come with the grill are designed to fit perfectly into the grooves to make cleaning easy. You know you'll always end up with a… Read more
healthy meal when you're cooking with the George Foreman grill. Some times the screen with the little countdown timer gets fogged up from the steam of the cooking food, also there's a lot of steam that comes out from the sides of the griller when cooking.
Excellent – I got this as a present and I will admit I was a little bit dissapointed on seeing it. But Now would have to say it was one of the best presents I have recieved. It is easy to use and easy to clean once you get the hang of it and it also means you are eating healthier too healthier cooking( the grease and oil that comes out of you meat does make… Read more
you a little sick though knowing that that was what you were putting in you body, easy to use and easy to clean once you get the hang of it is hard to clean at first as it can be a little difficult
Excellent – It was like I saw heaven’s light when I first saw the TV ad for this George Foreman grill. You see, I’ve been wanting to be health-conscious ever since, but I know you will agree with me when I say that it’s not an easy thing to do. Then came the GF grill, and my diet has totally changed. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not eating those boring and bland… Read more
kinda dishes now. I’m still enjoying burgers, country hash, Polynesian steaks, bacon sandwich, hotdogs, quesadillas, and the list goes on…minus a good amount of fat of course! Thanks to this GF grill. Aside from the “healthy angle” of this item, it’s also easy to use, easy to clean, and it cooks the food fast (because it cooks both sides at the same time). This grill couldn’t be any cooler than this. Easy to clean (non-stick) grill area none at all
Excellent – Love it and wouldn't be without it. It gets used nearly every day. If you turn one of the drip trays over and sit the front of the George on it, it levels it out so you can cook eggs. Eggs done on George are the nicest eggs I've ever eaten. Fried eggs with no fat. The grooved egg white adds an effect! Cleaning is easy, wipe over with a cloth or… Read more
the grooved sponges while still warm or reheat and sit on the sink and let the grubby water run straight down the sink. Far too easy! If you have a family of 4 of more, get the next size up. This size is perfect for just the 2 of us.
Would I recommend? Absolutely!
If I had to pick anything wrong with it, it would be storage, as I have none.
