Germanica Portable Spot Cleaner

Puts expensive competitors to shame – Absolutely brilliant, cleans upholstery beautifully and has great suction. Just bought a second hand fabric bed and the colour of the first tank water was almost black. You can see the dirty water going through as you clean so can pass over stubborn grime until water runs clear. Removed a significant amount of blood after bad nosebleed from a yellow washable rug and now you would never even know it had ever had blood stains on it. Whole unit is compact, hose wraps around base and cord has storage so no annoying hoses and cords hanging out. Love this product, worth every cent of the $99 I paid at coles
Purchased in at Coles Express for $99.

This is gold – Been looking for a spot cleaner to share with my daughters. Saw the Germanica at Target, which I wouldn't normally buy as there are no reviews. It's on sale for $79, so I thought, give it a go. We put 1/2 cap OMO washing liquid, and sprayed spots with a spot cleaner and left for 15mins, as it had some heavily soiled patches. Honestly, from the first pass with the wand, you could see filthy water coming up the hose. It took some time, as I said, it was quite grubby, but the difference is astounding. The only criticism I have is getting all the remaining clean water out of the tank. The shape of the tank makes it impossible to just pour it out. I ended up making a "wick" out of paper towel, and putting it in the hole to soak up the remaining water. I didn't want to leave it because you couldn't push the tank back into place, with the plug out (to let it air out). Anyway the paper towel did the trick. So everall, extremely happy. A tip, we went over the spots, then left them a few minutes, then went over them again, cleaner still, so for xtra grubby, give a couple of goes. Photo doesn't do justice, but hopefully you get the gist.
