Dreadful experience! Laundry cabinetry and bench-top installation scheduled 31/05/25 to complete. Timeframe communicated to [Name Removed], Director Getitinstalled. Installer walked off job at 2.45pm leaving work incomplete. No bench-top or cupboards. Pantry incorrectly installed because we could not communicate with carpenter because of behaviour. Incomplete work has impacted other scheduled trades, including handover for management of property.
Advised [Name Removed] 02/06/25 who commented “what we were going to do about it”. Empty promises made to coordinate alternative installer. Voicemail left and shortly after 60% deposit $1900) being paid, [Name Removed] emailed a reply he could not complete job.
Complaint submitted to Bunnings (who included Getitinstalled as a preferred supplier) and NCAT application is now required. Unable to locate a replacement installer with urgent timeline to remedy situation. Additional charge will be incurred to resolve Getinstalled’s poor workmanship (who took $1900 for 7 hours labour. Total rip off). Buyer beware. Do not engage Getitinstalled. Unacceptable, unreliable and unprofessional. Please take note of this company’s Service Guarantee. Its a bad joke and a huge mistake. Bunnings and Kaboodle should remove this business as a preferred supplier. We have been overcharged for shoddy work, and will incur further costs to resolve this matter. Dreadful outcome!

An update to Getit Installed…because of our experience with installation (which had not occurred and there were so many issues) they are currently being investigated and suspended from Bunnings list of tradespeople. Kaboodle confirmed they do not have accredited installers for the product because it is DIY. Just because a trade has a licence and registered, this doesn’t mean they are accredited.
We did not recover any money from Getit Installed who refused to refund us. We still have parts from the Kaboodle laundry to return to Bunnings because the trade who attended varied our laundry plan without consulting us when we were there. He refused to interact and was aggressive - which was intimidating and witnessed by 2 separate trades on site. Avoid this company. Unprofessional, unethical and unacceptable.
