I have to say as a coeliac I haven't tested the product yet but I have done an oat challenge when I was first diagnosed and know I can have oats without a reaction. What I don't understand is the multiple negative reviews where people are seemingly annoyed about having to read the packet label? I think labelling them as "GF Oats" is clever as it… Read more ·  2

catches the attention of coeliacs. But as a coeliac I would never assume something was GF without reading the fine print. It is well known that certified gluten free oats are not available in Australasia. Slamming the company for saying they're gluten friendly when that is what the majority of restaurants and cafes selling baked goods and meals will claim, unless you are so strict that you never eat out then why are you complaining? If you have a reaction, that is awful as I well know but do not continue to eat the product. If you eat the product you must accept the responsibility of taking the risk with a product that isn't certified to he gluten free. But let's be real, I know very few coeliacs who strictly follow that rule, otherwise their options for eating out etc would be very limited depending on the country you are in as the only "safe" place would be a 100% certified gluten free business, something we all know is a very difficult and expensive label to obtain. Looking forward to trying the oats as someone who loves them and wishes the laws were different. If I have a reaction I will accept that as a consequence of the risk I took.

The Best Oats Ever! – I have recently found out I’m gluten intolerant. I love my oats in winter but my usual brand affected me terribly. I did some reading and found these oats, I ordered a bag to see how I’d go. These are hands down the best oats I’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious! Almost finished the bag, will Order more soon. They also have other products which are worth exploring. Ordering and delivery trouble free. Show reply

Misleading information, health risk – Makes multiple claims that they are gluten free but continues to comment on FB that they do not claim to be gluten free when people pull them up on it. Uses #glutenfree on their posts even though they are legally not allowed to be listed as gluten free. Dodgy company.

Misleading name, NOT safe for Coeliacs – This company is extremely dodgy. They market their oats very misleading as they are NOT Gluten Free and NOT safe for those with Coeliac Disease unless you have done the medically supervised oats challenge. Do NOT fall for this despicable packaging and please follow the advice of Coeliac Australia not the promoting of someone who does not have the health and well-being of consumers at the forefront and has found a dodgy way around labelling laws.

Dangerously Misleading Product – This company sells oats that are categorised on their site as ‘gluten-free’ oats. This is an illegal claim to make in Australia, due to the risk that this poses to people with coeliac disease. They have tried to get around this by calling the company ‘GF Oats’, with GF standing for ‘Gloriously Free’ - a deliberately misleading ploy given that the… Read more

acronym GF is most commonly associated with ‘gluten free’.

Coeliacs are unable to eat ‘gluten-free’ oats without an oat challenge and biopsy, with around 1:5 likely susceptible to serious negative reactions from oats. This company brushes off this directive from the medical establishment and instead cites a false statistic of only 1:100 coeliacs being adversely affected by oats, while continuing to encourage coeliacs and similar others to try the product.

This company does not care at all about the safety of people requiring a gluten-free diet, and only cares about making $$$. Avoid at all costs.
