A Waste of Money – A total waste of money. I wish I'd seen the reviews before buying it.Didn't work properly from the first time I plugged it in - sometimes wouldn't warm up at all and sometimes warmed up for just one hour before dying and showing a error signal. I have now thrown it away (after 4 months) and have order another - definitely not a Giselle one. Would not buy one from this company again. Show details

NO RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY & DISABLED - COMPLETE LACK OF CARE on faulty product – My elderly mother in law who has onset Alzheimer's (Dementia) purchased an electric throw blanket. It switches on but won't warm up or change the heat setting on the controller. She doesn't remember where she purchased it. Most likely at a store - Big W I'd say. SEVEN times, saying the same thing, with photos, full details to the best of my knowledge and they keep asking me to nominate an online store or provide a receipt. No humanity. No respect. Complete time wasters. They would prefer to cheat an old woman than provide a new controller. Or even provide a quote for a new control. Pathetic. No regard or respect for customers. The blanket itself is poor quality and overpriced.

Reconsider this one – I cannot operate the temperature gauge properly. It seems easy enough but it is not. Instead of just pressing + and - it's not that straight forward. Make sure you detach the cord as it is extremely dangerous for tripping. I considered purchasing another for an elderly relative, but will now purchase another brand . Show details

How lucky was I that it was within the 1 year warranty, if it had died 4 weeks later it wouldn’t have been covered. the controller had died, but at least I guess they could see that there was no light on it when I connected power.. so they said they would give me a refund or would replace it BUT would not give me a year warranty on the new one only what is left on the warranty from the first purchase! So I requested a refund and I will buy another brand.

Gizelle blanket worked for 6 days then stopped – purchased this from ozsale it was around $50 so thought it a good buy used it for 6 days then on 7th it was dead wrote to ozsale they made me send a video ( of what I have no idea its DEAD) then sent me ways to test a dead blanket so worried if they replaced it will be summer and I won't know its working till next winter
