Cost about as much and broke down as often as a used car.

Where is the electric cord? – I have the gas plugged in but there is no cord for electricity, am I missing something? Bought second hand but can’t get it up and running, is it even meant to have electricity?

Poor quality – Purchased over 8 years ago and had nothing but dissatisfaction from start. Issues over this time buyers need to be aware of. 1. reviews and comments this a recurring issue on their defunct product and notably still have not fixed this issue by reading others comments. Just poor quality components used in manufacture 2. Rubber seal around oven door breaks and not suited to long term use. Done this 3 times now. 3. Electric oven now completely stopped working. Well the oven never really worked anyway! Food never cooked properly from day 1 and if it did it took 2 times as long as it should have. It simply doesn't heat up or hold heat like it should. Whilst product was regularly serviced the quality of this product for its price isn't worth buying. I have spent just as much money as it cost me to buy fixing this junk. Glem honestly you need to pay me back for the stove I was duped into believing was high quality for the extreme price paid through Hervey Norman. It's nothing more than a money pit which did no more than disappoint us from day 1. If anyone is buying a stove avoid the product and spare yourself the stress and worry. Glem needs to look at another way of making money other than producing a rubbish product. Thanks for wasting both my time and my money!!!!!

Waste of money – Gas top always had issues not turning on if oven was on, as though it overheated. The hinges of the oven door went within in 3 years (for a $3600 oven that is average at best)! The oven trays stick so quite dangerous and whilst wide you can't put trays on all of the runs, its ridiculous. Nothing but trouble - DO NOT purchase this brand – Same as most of the other reviews. Within a few months the door was not closing correctly. Ok - thanks guys for putting me in touch with a customer service area who had given me the number of a service man who has quoted me over $300 to repair something that should have lasted longer than five years. I did not need help to find a repairman. There are heaps of repairmen out there ready to take your money for half an hour's work. I just want to make the point that applies to a 'product review'. This is a poorly designed and unreliable product. You expect something better after spending over $3000.

Worst product I ever bought – Paid $3000 on a special at Harvey Norman. Immediately noticed that it was very hot on the front surface. Eventually called GLEM. This is a terrible product and I do not doubt that any other product these idiots make is tainted with the same brush. Buy a local product. Do not touch it with a barge pole.

new subway tiled splash was so hot after the first use of the oven it turned yellow. Although the repair guy said there was nothing wrong with it he still pulled it out and insulated it to help keep the temperature down.

On top of this, it takes forever to light the oven. Turn push and hold that dial for sometimes 60 seconds! Sometimes I just give up. When the repair guy came out to fix the top gas ailments that had stopped working I asked him about lighting the oven and it worked perfectly for him, lighting in 20 seconds. I just can't win this piece of junk.

Another fault is that the oven burns everything on the outside so when baking I can't cook the centre. This was repaired by placing an ugly tray on the inside bottom of the oven to disperse the heat more evenly. How can this be a solution? I want my money back! Don't buy a Glem Oven.

Worst Oven we have bought in our Life – Whilst GLEM eventually gave our money back it was the most annoying and painful process so would never want to deal with anything GLEM ever again. The oven heated everything except for what was in the oven, the face that GLEM just wouldn't believe their oven was dangerous was not acceptable. massive failure – this unit was purchased for use in a commercial situation, and almost from the first week the door started gaping open. reported, and service was provided from a town close by, who were just sent a set of hinges. twas suggested to me that i was letting children sit on it and or i was slamming the door? You guessed it, same thing with the hinges shortly thereafter. Changed again, exactly the same process, even after requesting a visit from somebody with some actual knowledge. hinges have gone again and I have been using a piece of four by two off a cupboard door handle to keep the door closed. this has not however helped the oven circulation which is beyond bad even with fan (gas). Igniters have failed on all but two knobs and have to bang the end of the wok burner knob if I want it stay on ( this I only found out through a fit of anger). Rang Glem personally rather than leaving to staff , and explained nicely the failings of the machine , requested to speak to someone of more seniority. Was told they were not there?. left ph no and suggested that if i did not hear from anybody that i would tell everybody who asked what a diabolical machine Glem had supplied me. statement was met with an "oh well" and that was it. 12 months later and nothing and here we are.

Disappointed – Well after 4 years, we purchased the oven in 2011, I finally figured that it was not my cooking but it is the oven. So many disappointments and embarrassments, sometimes if we have friends over and the food is not cooked on time. It seems there is a fault with the door and GLEM really needs to look into this. Purchasing a $ 3000.00 oven one would expect something better the this.

Piece of junk – Oven ignighter wont turn off door wont seal oven fan is that loud the nieghbors can hear it customer service is nonexistent, I would rather cook over an open fire in the back yard than buy another thing from glem . The cook top has worked fine however we have this big oven sitting in the kitchen and we have to use a little 75 dollar oven that sits on the bench. We now have to go and purchase another upright oven. It is very disappointing as we thought that after spending nearly 3000 dollars on a nice oven we would get more than 5 years use out of it.

close the door the seal goes under the door it is definately in the wrong position its a design fault i have went round stores looking at other cookers all makes even glem and the seals are not as low on any other oven.

ive now had my cooker 2 years and nearly 3 months and yes out of the warranty and im still not happy with the 2999.00 cooker it still doesnt work properly i called 3 weeks ago and was sent another set of brackets to fix myself ... which im not doing as i said im no technician. i cant afford to buy another cooker... i had my dream cooker ( not )

check the oven several times as it was not heating up properly and the door seals went very quickly. The last time a technician came he brought out a stainless steel cover which fits over the bottom of the oven, this was supposed to maintain an even heat when using the oven. Unfortunately, the plate made things worse, so we have now removed it. I do a lot of cooking/baking and when I compare this oven with my previous Neff oven, the Glem does not compare. I find the temperature settings unreliable and not well defined and as any good cook will tell you, if your recipe calls for a temperature of 350oC, you want to know your oven will reach exactly that! However the Cooktop gas rings are great. We are well out of warranty now and considering the high price we paid for this cooker, I am disappointed that it has not come up to expectations. Gas rings and size are great. Unreliable temperature control in oven.

Excellent – It is a great oven, and its the first time Ive managed to cook biscuits without burning them! and also able to cook two trays of food at the same time. the heat away from the front glass doors and sides - especially since I have a little boy who loves touching the front- it only gets warm - not burning like my old oven. Im glad I bought this oven and it gets heaps of admiring looks and comments, and is a breaze to use. Having the choice of either gas or electricity. Nice looking oven with a good warranty -that can be extended for another 4 years (with Harvey Norman) The cast Iron tops make it heavy when you have to remove them each time to clean, which i do each time I use it. The aluminium tops where the flame comes out (Im not sure of thier name -trivits??) have already got spots on them - which is dissapointing considering they get cleaned daily. The manual is poor quality -just a photo copied book - and for the price I paid I would have expected a lot better! also the book is not accurate -Ive had to phone up Glem and ask them about quite a few things. Eg. I couldnt light the gas stove - the book said put the knob on full and then push the ignition switch -but after several attempts to light (and some times switching to Electricity coz I couldnt light it) I phoned them up and they said no - push ignition switch first them put the switch to half way. I was told that putting the gas on full bore would activate the safety switch -so it would not light!! The stainless steel marks easy -and i guess I will have to look at some time of stainless steel cleaner to prevent continual marking.

can be used on bottle gas (like us) or piped. Cleans like a dream (without me touching it woo hoo_ and looks stunning in the kitchen. It is wide enough for 2 family pizzas side by side - no more having to swap top to bottom, and OMG - the results - perfect crispness without the burn - the heating is just so even. Reliable, self cleaning, dual energy source, looks great A significant investment but worth every penny.

love my glem – It has taken a little time to get used to cooking with, it is quite different from my old stove, but well worth the change. Love being able to choose between gas or electric in the oven. The only thing I don't like is the grill being inside the oven, but most oven are like that now. good mixture of gas hob sizes. The plate warm is also good. Overall, the reviews that i have read on this site are accurate. Good quality, woorks well and does what I expect. The aluminium rim on the hobs does discolour and needs to be cleaned
