Some essential oil not safe for pets research b4 buying – ATTENTION TO THOSE BUYING THEIR ESSENTIAL OILS. Some of the essential oils they sell are not safe for your dogs and cats. Especially any of the oils that containt eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil etc. So you really need to look at the ingredients. There is a pretty big list of essential oils that are not safe and some very dangerous to pets. I didn't know until I looked it up online. This really should have been mentioned by the company. When I've emailed them to ask if safe for pets, they said they don't really know.
Hi Gabi. Your Glow Lullaby Organic Essential Oil Contains Eucalyptus oil and lavender. Actually a few of your oils contain lavender.
According to Australian Animal poisons helpline and other reliable sources online, Eucalyptus oil and Lavender for example are poisonous to both with their side effects being pretty substantial
Eucalyptus oil is poisonous to both cats and dogs and lavender is poisonous to cats.
Your above text sais "we have taken care with these blends to avoid ingredients that are known to be toxic to pets".
NOTE: Glow Lullaby Organic Essential Oil Contains Eucalyptus oil and lavender. Both ingredients that are poisonous to cats and dogs.
I feel as your answer is not honest or maybe you were not aware of those ingredients being present in glow dreaming oils, clearly listed on your site.
So those poisonous ingredients have NOT BEEN AVOIDED AS PER YOUR ABOVE message.
What you are saying and the info on your website does not much which makes me trust this even less.
Hi Julia, We truly value your input and want to address your concerns thoroughly, as the safety of our products for both people and pets is a priority for us. To clarify, the Glow Lullaby Organic Essential Oil currently available on our website is an older version of the blend, which does contain eucalyptus oil and lavender. We are aware of the concerns raised about these ingredients, particularly for pets, and we’ve already updated our product line to remove eucalyptus from our oils. Our updated blends still include lavender, as it is generally recognised as safe for pets in small amounts. However, we acknowledge that lavender, like many essential oils, may cause mild skin irritation or allergic reactions in some animals (and humans!), depending on individual sensitivities. With this in mind, we encourage people and pet owners alike to speak to their GP or vet about any concerns they may have before introducing these oils into their home. We also want to emphasize that we have never received a complaint from any of our customers who have used our oils while having pets. This is because our oils are always used within our recommended guidelines—diluted and distributed via our ultrasonic humidifiers, and introduced slowly into routines by starting with just 1-2 drops. We deeply apologize for any confusion caused and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While the older blend is still available for purchase, we are taking steps to ensure customers are informed of the differences between the older and newer formulations. If you have further questions or would like to discuss this in more detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at customercare@glowdreaming.com. Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve and better serve our customers. Warm regards, Glow Dreaming Customer Care Team
Hi. Hopefully there will be something done and there will be more transparency regarding the safety of your oils in regards to pets. While 1 to 2 drops might not be as bad, once you get to 10 drops for let's say a 8+ year old, thn surely exposure to it might end affecting the pets. our pets can't speak to us but surely being excused to something that is well documented to be dangerous to them is not good. A disclaimer in your product description about use of those oil around pets should be included. Is surely part of duty of care and the company should 100% be transparent about this. There is still no mentioning of this on your products.

Hi lovely. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. All our customer care team members are well aware of the safety of our oils when it comes to pets, so I would love to know who you spoke to as I would love to address this with them, and ensure they are up to speed with all the information required.
Our oils are designed for use with our human family members, though we have taken care with these blends to avoid ingredients that are known to be toxic to pets. It is safe to use our oils when diluted and distributed through our ultrasonic humidifiers, though we recommend starting out slow with just 2 drops in your diffuser, with the water filled to just below the Max line, as you’re introducing something new into their routine as well as your own.
Animals have a much stronger sense of smell than humans, so make sure you keep the door open so your pets can come and go if they prefer fresh air, and to allow air to circulate fully through the room.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at customercare@glowdreaming.com as we are here to help :)
Have a wonderful day
